Predator Melee Counters

Ok so I talked about Potatoe Pred running at FT and the best way was to run backwards? No not anymore, now you need to circle shoot the Predator as he melees you in a straight line, Preds to counter this I suggest you soften them up with Plasma then melee

Check out the videos by @StoagieSteve420 on this forum. He is the king of melee. His CQC skills are frightening.

I think he runs at you with heavy knife attack and then switches it up with light attacks. Tip: heal w syringe when you get to half health when engaging in Pred knife fight.

I tried but it didn’t even let me press the R3 button for PS5 and it was against Alphas with sickle and Elder with swords

idk. But whenever I try to block with a gun in my hand I get destroyed. It’s easier if you just keep your knife out. I think there is some way to cancel the animation as listed in another thread. But I can’t figure that out.

That’s true but if you can get the timing right with a pistol, you can parry shoot and parry again.
But I think you have to have the fast hands perk to be able to do that?

Well to counter pred melee you just stick together, turn into him and mag dump. You literally don’t even have to parry lol. But if you wanna get good at parrying the predator. Check it out…pull out your knife… and spam attacks. You’ll parry 😂

Once we and other FT members just circled a Pred and body blocked him and we knifed them to death lol

FT DPS is so high and pred melee tracking so laughably bad you don’t even need to parry. Just circle and keep shooting.

Predators using the scythe translate into almost sure kills when they engage, incredibly hard to parry most often then not and insane burst. if you do not have a team that can burst as he is attacking you, you’re in deep gogo.

1v1 or the entire team shooting at you?

I’ve honestly switched to this a lot more lately. Especially with faster classes, just kite, strafe and empty mags. If I get backed to an object or decent teammates I’ll parry
