I really donât know that my Playstyle isâŚ
You cant put something like troll with cheap builds and not explain it at all.
Whatâs a cheap build?
As Pred you donât have a choice but to harass enemies, picking them off one by one as the A.I dose all the dirty work but as FT I just try my best to just scare the Pred away and sacrifice myself for the team
iâd assume an example of a troll/cheap build is shit like War club/netgun fast hands/trapper
or a scout/elder with all damage reduction perks and pistol+bow
I use my entire aresenal and try to eliminate as soon as possible without letting them reinforce
Thatâs The thing tho, if youâre going with cheap anything, its usually meta shit, which If youâre doing that, youâre not really trolling.
Trolling would be taking purposely shitty gear to fuck around with.
Unless he means perk price.
But who knows, thatâs why I Asked lol.
I like to stalk my prey maybe wait for one of them to split up, confuse them with audio decoys, and use my shoulder Cannon with ditherlinds to scare em a bit.
Or use the want some candy or over here emote alot đ
My Playstyle differs with each Fireteam I encounter.
Viking with down range and height advantage spamming plasma caster.
My preference would be slow methodical. But thatâs not possible with 3 minutes objectives.
This & This. As a Pred, you have to adapt depending on the competence and cohesion of the FT. Itâs pretty rare nowadays that I feel confident enough to take things slowly. Too many missions can be done very quickly.
Had a game the other day on Extraction where I lost track of the FT for a minute, and that cost me the game (3 extracted safely I think) as I just hadnât pressured them enough and they were so fast.
So far Iâm having fun with the Hammer, I know itâs crap but that juicy L2 damage is worth it, then I swap quickly to Katana, if they parry it they still get the bleed, then I jump my ass out of there to repeat the same until all the FT has used their meds. I also trigger the camps before I look for them. Iâm not great but Iâve been having fun.
Yeah. Unfortunately, âwhat is funâ rarely equals âwhat is effectiveâ in the current meta.
Thatâs not really cheap.
Just playing range lol.
First off, love your username. I think Iâve played you a few times so GGs. Second, do you think Viking is worth getting?
Hot take but the only playstyle in this game for pred is hit and run. Disc only is a playstyle I guess because FT might as well just be fighting a drone. Bunnyhopping with bow/caster is a playstyle maybe, preds overall feel samey.
They really need an equivalent of specializations.
FT atleast have more options for playstyles because they can split up.
Reminds me of when people were talking about playstyles in Evolve.
All of you play hide and seek, some with more pressure than others but Evolve atleast had distinctly different monsters
So basically All of them. Each Game has a different approach. I always test the water before hand.
The First Engagement tells me the strategy I have to implement.
With that being said I always try for at least one stealth kill per Match!
I consider myself an opportunist. I sit and watch the Fireteam until one of them makes a mistake (walked too close to an explosive barrel, split up from the team, used all their medkits, chases me alone) stuff like that. I strike when the moment is right and only if itâs right. It works out for me usually
Why isnât their be an all of the above? Every style should be viable and give you a chance
Too bad balance still isnât there numbers wise đ
