Yes it is.

NO FUCKING SHIT… illfonic is really not having it huh…
the karma is such a bitch in this case XD

im kind of like histerically comedic rn cause like i was warned by a friend of mine that i shouldnt go through with getting the game cause this may happen

Well at least we know what @OldKingHamlet had to finish writing

To paraphrase the legendary John McClane…how can the same shit happen to the same company twice

Assuming they loose the license we have a bizarre situation where if AVP is its own thing the Predator franchise is going to likely end up like how you can own Jason but not Friday the 13th. Or alternatively the Star Trek license where one company owns one version and another company owns the other.

Essentially meaning that we’d have two different franchises of the same creature under two completely different contexts under two different companies. Because apparently if the Fox rep was to be believed AVP isn’t just Alien and Predator it’s just it’s own thing.

Nothing fake about it , somebody posted it and they took it down. They have the balls to still sell copy’s aswell . Give us our money back. You suck at developing and you are hacks . Fuck off back to the music industry, chuck

Friday the 13th is worth more than Predator I’m certain of it

Yeah but aren’t they done with avp production lol… plus its not like avp 1 was bad… avp2 had such a shit story line that moved way too fast lol there was no proper flow kinda all over the place…

but both movies did show the pred tech n stuff it was legit nice plus avp 1 kinda did follow up on the first two movies lol

plus from what i inspected about the thomas brothers… they are pretty much donzo with making movies lol… idk why they seek for ownership now?

AVP will have to be renegotiated if the rights switch hands

Was worth more. Predator is still a live marketable franchise. F13 (aside the game) doesn’t have a future. Where as Predator does have a green light on a new installment

Then you will probably look at colab of thomas bros and disney i guess…

Friday the 13th still makes money

Clothing, collectibles, a board game, movies

Largely because it’s an easy way to make money because it means everyone would have to go through them. Its the situation with Terminator but significantly less complicated.

There is a law , that alot of these people didn’t really know about until like , 2015 . After a period of time of 30-35 years , original creators can get their licencing back . Its the same with James Cameron and terminator , there was talk of it going back to them

Not as much as the potential Predator is sitting on.
Regardless it’s way to early to panic. Let’s just sit back and wait and ask where the fucking update is

The rights expire on Saturday

That means until it’s settled no new money can be generated

Yep…it’s Thursday.
