There are some matches that are unwinnable, don’t feel bad about losing those. Best you can do is try to learn from it. FT can make as many mistakes as they want. Pred can’t
Predator strategies
It would be easier if those fuckers did make mistakes.
@Cptclutch117 he’s captain clutch. There were a few snipers, landing some very good shots. And the usual Hammerhead and 1101, a lot of grenade chuckers but they were smart about their throws. It was hard to approach up close, and my lack of aiming skill plus their movements made it rough to engage properly (switching the triggers might have helped).
And no way I was going to claim anyone but the last guy against that team. That’s why I got called out because I didn’t claim him, but if I did I would have gotten torn up. Like…I’m not new here bro lol
No, that tactic doesn’t work at all. I play private matches with @Cptclutch117 and friends in private matches and not being funny but melee against any good team doesn’t work for shit. He also doesn’t call you a pussy for killing them with the bow
This is the kind of playstyle needed against the best PlayStation Fireteam players
How ‘un-new’ are you, precisely? Telling you, melee the low-health classes and save the big bois (e.g. Dante, Dutch, Support) for last, or kill em with the axe. Unless you are saying you were up against a ‘Jack-of-all-trades’ team… still haven’t found a good way to deal with that shit yet.
Clutch didn’t call me that, it was another of his team. Clutch was actually giving GGs and was very respectful.
I’m sorry… ‘Hunter: Stalker’? I’m definitely not high at the moment (this time).
So the only strategies to kill fireteam are
- Use a broken weapon.
- Use far range and hope you hit your shots.
- Hit and run with melee weapons.
Yeah. A well-built scout with the axe is a counter for just about everything other than a team of pdl-cockblockers with hammerhead, yautja’s bane and deadly.
Bought the game on launch. Have been more or less addicted to it since. 90% completion, lvl249 as of last night. I know that’s not a lot but obviously it doesn’t count for when we were all stuck at 150 for months or we’d all be higher.
And I can’t believe after your whuppin’ with Sam’s team you still think engaging with melee is smart lol. Clutch’s team is like the PS version of that. MAYBE I could have hit and run with the axe with say a Mr. Black with his bullet damage resistance, but the grenades would have wrecked and when all four of them are shooting you, bullet resistance becomes nonexistent.
I was lucky to take out the field medic, but I was unable to get any more downs.
Specialization exploit. Something I’m currently trying to make work lol.
Predator strategies.
Ages 7-15:
Pick a Hunter-Fervent loadout, use voice activation on your microphone in the lobby and do one or two of the following:
- Breathe heavily in the mic.
- Constantly touch and scratch the mic.
- Keep a noisy TV on in the background.
- Have your parents nearby discussing whose turn it is to make dinner.
When the round starts you go visit a random base on the map that has AI’s in it, kill the AI’s so the Fireteam can hear you and find you, then you try to spam wristblade attacks at the Fireteam and hope for the best. If you’d be in extremely bad luck and happen to get second winded, start healing up right on the spot.
Ages 16-20:
Pick a Hunter-Fervent or Berserker-Enraged(Savage will also do) loadout.
In the lobby, wait about 10-15 seconds before you let everyone know you have a microphone by fiddling with something you can eat or drink. It could be candy wrapping paper, a bag of chips, soda or just about anything.
If anyone in the Fireteam is wondering what you’re doing then you can:
- Let them know how easily you’ll kill them with your combistick and bow.
- Comment their username in a negative way.
- Pretend to be clueless until the round starts to avoid further questions.
During the round you’ll traverse through the trees 85% of the time to maximize the chance that the Fireteam will see you heading their way. The bending of the branches and the falling leaves will do most of the work for you, and don’t forget to switch the vision mode on and off every 3rd second so the FT wont miss the flashing eyes.
When you get within 75m of the Fireteam start shooting arrows at them, stand still and keep shooting even though you’re being spotted and shot at.
When you get second winded you’ll drop down on the ground, start leaping away from the FT in a wide semi-circle. Don’t heal up, wait until the timer runs out and you get downed, but don’t activate the bomb yet! Wait for the Fireteam to get close to you, when they see you and start shooting at you then you can activate the bomb.
When it’s over and the scoreboard shows up then you can start argue with the Fireteam, even accuse them for cheating, that they can’t see you when you’re cloaked and so on, make things up, only your fantasy will limit you.
If its a good pc premade ft its just strategy 2. there. FT has broken weapons, specs, perk whatever, what else is the Predator suppose to do ?
This took you a long time to type. It was worth it.
Bruh that video up above was NOT against sam’s team. Also kinda sad you have been addicted from launch.
Yes! Someone else will have to continue the ages 21 and above.
Hmmm… And how do you perform said exploit?
It’s sad that someone enjoys a game they put $60 into?
I…I know that’s not Sam’s team. I was saying after YOU got wrecked by his team, I’m surprised you still think melee is a valid way to approach a decent team.
And yes, it is sad. But I have my moments of fun, and that’s what matters.
21+
Step one: Roast potato teams, sympathize with the guys who are carrying them, and die whenever you are so unfortunate as to get a deathsquad.
Step two: Stop playing this dogshit game and get onto Deep Rock Galactic, you whiny bastards.
