Erā€¦ Iā€™ve slaughtered decent teams with melee. And frankly, I think samā€™s bois are slightly above ā€˜decentā€™.

I just discovered a 4th strategy

  1. Kill one fireteam member with bow and then kill whoever tries to revive them then repeat with other fireteam members ( bear traps will also help.)

I didnā€™t preorder. I am a Pred fan but I wasnā€™t into the game until I saw some videos of it and was like, ok, this looks fun so I grabbed it. I was never into online competitive games, but this broke that mold for me so I enjoy them. I just consider this my COD, thatā€™s all.

A good ft is not gonna revive like that in front of the Predator they will just shoot you into second wind instead, if they have a field medic chances are you wonā€™t get the fm down fast enough, others will be shooting at you during it.

So have I. But lately it feels very weird to engage with melee for me. Like, I get anxious because I know Iā€™m endangering myself, even with the axe. I feel more comfortable using bow/combi and being able to sprint and jump and attack from different angles.

Ya your right really the only strategy that will work is strategy two, all the other strategies will only work for good and below fireteams.

I bet I would too if I could aim for shit, ngl. Still, melee is an unbelievably fun way to play because it either surprises people that you made it work, or it pisses them off because apparently using the axe against them is ā€˜cheatingā€™.

I like to load out either Valk or Cleo with the axe and go to town. Their health pool and melee damage passives make it easier to compensate against tougher teams. Making people quit because of the axe is a pleasure of mine.

Interesting. I prefer scout, as the speed and ā€˜ghostā€™ with fearless perk means the only thing ft can do is hope I miss my swing. I just end up running circles around them chopping them up.

Yeah itā€™s a glitched loadout I have been able to use ever since my PS5. I havenā€™t determined the cause of it yet. It just randomly happened.
