I have to say that the elder sword is a pretty darn good weapon for a beginner one.

Splendid work, as always.

Nice work however looking at the damage what’s the point of running the hammer over the axe when they’re damn near the same weapon? When swinging both they’re about the same speed and have the same heavy lunge except one has greater range on the light plus added bleeding including on slams.

I guess for the bonk sounds the hammer makes, axe for some reason doesn’t have that on the heavy anymore.

Fearless and down range give extra 10% damage right? Do they still not work together? Was that tested ?

Zerk already got the disadvantage of 3 less perks then the Viking, the least they could do was keep that melee damage multiplier the same for both. Really wanted to Zerk to be a better class.

I’m sure it’ll change on public release.
Only real difference is axe does bleed, hammer does “blind/fuzzy” like warclub

I thought the axe also did the concussion hit or did they remove it? If it’s still there then there’s no question the axe is better in nearly every way.

Can i just say how fking basic damage is from predator lmao… its obvious that they cant aim for shit lol… so my take on this is… they wont even bother like adding headshot damage for plasma and other weapons…

The whole pred weapon set needs a buff. If you get a full combo off on a FT member and get all your hits they should be dead. Period. Faster weapons don’t hit as hard but have a faster and more hits combo. Heavy weapons hit like a truck but they are slow with fewer hits in a combo. None of them should one-hit kill, but a slow-as-molasses axe? Two hit kill at least to punish you for not getting out of the way after the first hit. These are uber-strong aliens not effing bumble bees.

Not to mention the tracking since you would need your target to be completely still and a good bit of Rng to hit with a full combo. I should not be able to dupe the pred cause of a tiny pebble. Plus we just need more ranged weapons in general.

And I’m a FT main and I can still see these issues? You know it’s pretty bad

The hammer might have faster light attack chaining. Might.

That doesn’t seem like that much of an incentive, the only reason to pick it over the axe as far as I’m concerned is the bonk sound to send every FT to horny jail.

Tested the plasma caster splash damage last night. Direct hit damage is the same, starting at 42 and ending at 120 fully charged. If you do not get a direct hit The lowest amount of damage possible is 15. This starts at about 4.5m and ends at 34 damage before getting a direct hit. For fully charged shots, 15 damage starts at about 10.5m and ends at 100 damage before getting a direct hit.
