Because how basic they are.
No not slang, but legitimately basic.
They go, kill something and take its skull.
They have a plasma weapon that really isn’t all that advanced.
A spear. A net. The disk are kinda advanced and cool but still, meh.
Their personality or lack thereof is what makes them boring.
A collection of skulls from things that clearly are intellectually inferior is not impressive.
They would be cool if they went and looked for and fought things that required them to go all out.
Throphy hunting isn’t anything cool.
It’s a waste. It’s not a real fight.
They nerf themselves kinda, but never seek to push themselves to their limit.
Killing an animal for sport, is boring.
And that’s all they do.
