The reviews from both critics and mainstream is heavily positive, no evidence to oppose otherwise.

Oh I’m not saying your thoughts on the film is invalid, just that the general consensus on the film is that its a positively great film. Two differences.

(for those wondering i have not seen the movie just read a synopses/summery watched some reviews i’ll see it someday probably through [rap and ic-e] or when some friends pay to see it and i happen to be there cause i don’t respect film as a medium but that’s a whole other can of worms that i don’t plan on explaining)
The predator is their own physics still, it’s a mix real physics and fiction.

A. PHG sucks ass in general. This is like using the assassin pred from the predator to debate one or two

Yea I read it, I enjoy it too. Preds take giving someone your weapon as a sign of respect and he left his sword with adolini when he left that’s y I don’t care for retcon of it in prey but ig they wanted to do something different. I interested to see how they will tie it in tho

That makes so much fucking sense
I always assumed the preds vision in one was motion based since the more Arny moved the clearer he was.
But the idea that the preds have natural heat vision and the mask clears it of extra feedback makes so much more sense.
The only issue this could have is the fact that their planet was supposed to be extremely hot, therefore making their vision just as bad as on earth. However they do have small eyes so I wouldn’t be surprised if their vision was more secondary to other senses.

He seems to suggest it has something to do with the atmosphere itself. Could be the wind & all the gases & particles it carries that makes the vision like we see it in the 1st movie.
