there is not 1 movie review sight that rates Predator 2 better than Prey, i’m sorry to break it to you chuck but it is just an overall better film. you say the final fight was BS? but you like Pred 2? let’s recap shall we. Danny Glover chases the Predator to an elevator shaft which he jumps down and while in free fall stops himself with his bare hands in a hole not much bigger than himself, which may i add is humanly impossible. Then when he has made it through said hole lands on a Predator ship then proceeds to 1v1 the Predator on his own ship with the Predators own smart disc and that is more believable to you? OK Chuck. The city hunter is also missing an arm and get’s beat off a 50 year old over the hill cop with no hand to hand combat skills. Don’t even get me started on why the city hunter thinks he is raiden on the top a building with his combi while lightning strikes him as if he is iron man getting a recharge that is the most farfetched shit ever. Taabe was an insane character but not just 1 arrow chuck if you go back and watch you will also see him put a spear through the feral’s chest as he jumps off the horse.

It was a mid tier summer action flick at best with a forgettable main character (brother was much cooler and compelling) that didn’t really grow as a person. If it was a different movie monster instead of a pred then most people would have passed it by if not even notice it at all.

What’s the problem with Predators being able to absorb & manipulate lightning & electricity? Shit is cool, they should do more with that. Last time it was a major thing was in Concrete Jungle when Scarface could punch into Electric Panels to power himself up. Honestly if this game was under better hands there should’ve been something like Weather changes in maps so that when it started raining, in exchange for the rain fucking with the Cloak the Predator could power themself up into a Super/Install state by absorbing lightning into them from the storm which would buff their movement speed & damage.
They did it in avp the game aswell , I always assumed that’s what happened in predator 2 with the neon sign and even the lightning strike? I thought he was charging his gear

No it’s an 8 foot alien that leaps 50 metres, runs at 80 miles per hour & can throw hands with eldritch alien creatures that wanna give you the bad touch & put a baby in your chest. If the movies show them powering up with lightning, what the fuck is the problem with that: it’s a fucking alien and its biology is clearly wack.

You forget that he charged up way before fighting Harrigan 1 on 1. The ENTIRE Meathouse ambush & fight occurs before Harrigan gets involved and in that fight he effortlessly mows his way through like 9 dudes without breaking a sweat.

That cop was the protagonist what did you fucking expect? It’s almost like the film is a action cop movie about a hot shot loose cannon who by working outside of the rules is able to do his job better than everybody else around him.

Except I loved Prey so what the fuck are you taking issue with me for? Honestly there’s parts of Prey I enjoy more than the 1st movie.
We need more exploration on the lighting thing, cuz no matter how anyone looks at it, it’s canon that somehow Predators get some kind of power up from lighting strikes. Still fuckin cool, that is a win from me I say.
