Well the embargo has lifted and all the normal reviews have dropped boys. It seems that the movie will indeed be pretty good indeed. I am very happy bout seing it tomorrow. It will be a blast little billy, a blast.

Just like other types of reviews (hotels, restaurants, online goods, etc.), it’s important to actually read a critics review to understand why they thought a movie was good or bad. Many critics are detached from common sentiments but not all are, and the detached critics can still help you understand the tone, pacing, and quality of the plot, even if they make a different value judgment than the typical movie goer.

If you need someone else’s to determine whether or not a pizza is shit, you are incapable of forming your own opinion.
Typically the target audience of marketing schemes and overpriced footwear.
People who appeal to authority or masses are a red flag. Reviews should be reserved for determining whether or not a peice of chinese trash I purchased off amazon will self destruct or not.
TBH, critics are mostly pretentious people who think themselves as some sort of authority as to what an artist should do.
Artists create art, whether music, film, painting, sculpture, etc. It is absolutely no one’s business to tell if their work is good or bad. It is absolutely your opinion if you like it or not, but that’s about it. Do no let absolutely anyone, ever, to tell you if some piece of art is good or bad, music, film or whatever

when it comes to art, is all subjective. What common folk may consider hot garbage, a few may consider it a masterpiece, and vice-versa. Doesn’t make anyone right or wrong. Just understand, people value different aspects from art, and everyone is entitled to do so.

Very true, very true. I love Neil Breen. Most others dont. But it is still true that the majority can tell a good film from a bad one even though its all subjective billy boy. God bless.

You don’t need the review if you’ve already seen the movie or used a product. Reviews are for determining whether or not to spend money on a movie you haven’t yet seen or product you haven’t yet used. My apologies, I thought that was obvious.

I like YouTube critics like Critical Drinker, Jeremy Jahns, and Chris Stuckmann. I don’t always agree with them, but sometimes I’ll choose to wait for a new movie to go to streaming or watch an old movie I haven’t seen based on their content.

Lulz. I think that movie might have a record for suicides in it. All the corrupt folks at the end (at least 4; and one mistaken suicide, and even though it wasn’t a suicide, how can Neil be wrong?)
