She could be asked as part of mental fortitude. Is she strong enough to stand up for her beliefs or will she bail after the first ‘no’.
Rotten Tomatoes means nothing, all the star wars sequels, except for The Rise of Skywalker have very positive reviews, but movies like the original Jumanji have negative reviews. Rotten Tomatoes is not the site to go by if you want to see how good a movie is.

It’s decent tho. Yeah, there are movies they got totally wrong, but overall it ok.
That is a very high rating tho. We may not think it’s a A list Pred movie, but it can still be an A list movie.
Its not released yet , its dropped but has went back up . I’m suspicious of any 10/10 reviews . What the fuck is a 10 out of 10 movie?

Infact , the reason it is even over 95% on RT is because they have deactivated user reviews? Why? Its been in select cinemas in some places

Yeah, that’s way too high for this kind of movie. Pure action flicks rarely get any respect these days.

I have read some spoilers, and there may be a few aspects of this movie that are better than the original. Especially with respect to what the predator is up to before the conflict with the main character.

I don’t know, I didn’t hear about that.
I skimmed the three lowest scored articles. Basically it’s Naru’s story. Although there woke vibes, noone ready mentioned it that way. Perhaps is a story of a young person growing up in a warrior culture and she has a few extra challenges to face. Mixed in are the action conflicts that define Narus coming of age, which seem to be done well within the setting of the forests and the time period to be believable and dynamic. Perhaps the weakness is there in the beginning, but gradually gets lost as the plot takes over.

I think I know which parts you mean , I just put those down to tension building . The pace of the original was around building the teams mission and building their characters as a team . While it will be fun to see something different in prey , its part of what made dutch’ team be more than Canon fodder , even if thats what they ended up as 😁

A few less positive reviews here to make the PHG crowd feel right at home
Metacritic gave Predator 45% Predator 2 46% Predators 51% and The Predator 48% so I think most of the critics on there hate the Predator franchise as a whole.

Critics care not for the opinions or desires of the common folk. Critics are largely paid shills nowadays, and a good way to judge the merits or fun of a movie is to look at the disparity between audience and critic reviews on rotten tomatoes.
