Private chat=Cheating FT

but the developers decided to show 3rd person view of their team mates, not to mention the pred cloak on 3rd person view is like the old days were is visible from a mile away if it moves. Is an easy fix, but they don’t implemented it. They themselves even use third party chat on their streams. So…

Why wouldn’t they? They can put a small nuclear bomb in a wrist device, they can cloak, they have powered metal alloys, but they can’t translate a language from a planet they visit over centuries ago?

seems like they can’t, at least on the movies ;)

I’m a native English speaker, I have a hard time understanding different American dialects and accents sometimes. The UK is a different language almost while still being the same. Puerto Rican native Spanish differs from Mexican, and both are equally different from Spain’s native Spanish.

It’s easier to understand the intent of spoken words than it is their actual meaning. Kinda like how you can tell the difference when a dog is growling because he wants to play or if he’s growling because you pissed him off

Quit being reasonable and rational, old man!

I understand. My point is, according to what we know so far, Predator is a highly intelligent and technologically advamced creature and, understanding a language might well be the simplest thing for them to achieve.
I know i’m just rambling, it’s those kinds of things in movies that is for the viewer to believe or not.

Now that…yeah. There’s plenty of things left for the viewer to interpret because they’re not essential to the films. Most stuff like that there’s no need to flesh out initially so they just leave it be to avoid confusion or taking away from other aspects of the movie.

Personally, is it possible they understand english? Sure. Likely? Not really. Important whether they do or not? In the context of the first two movies? No…so I don’t worry about it

I know, I’m such a spoilsport sometimes

So its ok to break the rules.
Got it.

What rules?

Yautja rules.
The legend says they only hunt during hot summers against the best human warriors that use only comms the Yautja can hear. Otherwise it’s no sport.

Pretty sure Hound was trying to make some kind of statement about the “Rules” of the game. Even though the only “Rules” the game has are “Predator Wins if the FT run out of Time, don’t get on the Chopper or all die to the Predator” and “Fireteam wins if they complete their mission & exfil or kill the Predator & either capture its body or outrun the bomb with at least 1 person alive.”

we have stated this many times. According to the weekly/daily challenges, escaping the bomb blast is not a win for FT

You either exfil or secure the body.

If only securing didn’t take forever. I dont defuse anymore just because of how long that stupid ai defense takes.

I was just trolling man…

Securing the Pred body should be against the Predator player, like giving him somekind of “reinforcements” with another personal loadout at his choice.

Or like a stargazer super heavy with prototype tech trying to secure the body, controlled by the pred.

there’s no point. No matter how much the pred body is damaged, you still win. The only difference is the xp reward, which after lv 150 is useless.

The way i said, the objective for the 2nd Predator would be retrieve the body, no matter how damaged it would be.

Lies, the FT who are dead can spam a button and use morse code with it.
