Unless they somehow make that assertion clearly within the movie itself - and I can’t really see why they would do that - I think we have some wiggle-room with it. Just look at the whole Bishop II debate in Aliens 3. The intention from the filmmakers was clear, but the actual presentation ambiguous enough to leave room for either interpretation.
Whatever the case, I really hope we don’t get subtitled communication from the predators again. It’s just cringe.

Let me give you a little heresy right now : Predator franchise is so fucked up and inconsistent that I’m willing to see what this WOKE bullshit brings to the table. If its better – I’m on board.
If, however this bullshit of a mess will be about a merry sue teen fighting the gender norms, and a Pred just happens to be in the background once or twice than… well, I will re-watch The Predator from 2018 and admit it wasn’t so bad…

No one will beg for Shane back. That was one of the worst films of all time. Tone was all over the place, awful action sequences. Incoherent plot and characters, and then actual racism and sexism on set on full blast. Just a massive shit of a movie
