I’m one of those people that absolutely loves TLOU2 and even I don’t like this scene. It was kinda disturbing. They should’ve just cut to black much sooner. We didn’t need to see everything else. I read the ESRB’s description before the game came out and it didn’t mention anything close to this.
Quite literally the worst and most overpriced game I have ever purchased on PLAYSTATION

Yep the next Souls game should dumb down everything for casuals & introduce a fortnite shop and a battle pass so they stop quitting when they die and lose their progress. Anything that doesn’t reach close to a million players & have several thousand concurrent twitch streamers at peak hours is a dead game.

Blackops 4 & fallout 76 unironically meet your population criteria for what makes a game good so yes.
Fallout 76 is like double the average playerbase of dark souls 3 right now since they just dropped content.
Your logic is the more people playing it = the better the game is hurr durr numbers dont lie. Dark souls 3 has 10k average players because its hard so it must be a shit game and fortnite is better.

in black ops four and 76 they get alot of new players because of the games Name you can see that on the way back machine and you can also see there, that there IS alot of players leaving that game its both really how many players are they getting in to replace the lost ones and lastly how big the player base is.

Your logic is the reason why a bunch of companies released a bunch of shallow Battle Royales to all try to copy eachother at the same time. They aren’t punishing, 0 effort, matches are quick. Makes a quick dollar reusing assets & concepts people are familiar with. Same thing happened with looter shooters.
In theory, yes every game should be a casual shitshow participation trophy with a cash shop because that is what sells. Hard games are bad for business so why make them? Gamerdad buys Sekiro gets stuck a quarter of the way through and quits. New guy loads up Tarkov and realizes his character permadeaths past a certain level and quits.
Why do Escape from Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown exist by your reasoning? Why would someone implement permadeath if it kills the game’s population and makes all the cool twitch streamers quit by your logic?

again never said anything about Hard games being bad. i honestly find it funny that you think that Dark souls is one of my fav games of all time so its not the case here man theres other reasons that i dont like it i would love to sit down and debate it with you but im sure your not Intresseted in debating you want to insult me for not liking a game you like and your mad that im defending my Own thoughts and opinions…

Ok Showdown’s got around the same pop as Dark Souls for the same reasons. Both can never be great then because they aren’t topping steamcharts or twitch and never can touch fortnite’s player retention at only 10k players or less because they aren’t skinner boxes sry.

see, i like dark souls not cause its hard i just like the art style of the game and the music is awesome for it so i play it alot. but again i dont love or hate it because of how hard a game is. is it the worst game on steam? no is it the best? HELL NO. things are not that black and white i use a point that helps people understand their CHANCES of liking it and if they alot of people dont then its a fair to good chance to say they wont either. now with that fact does it make the game bad? no. but just cause it isnt bad doesnt mean its great! lol…
and with out going into details but to point out what i mean. Huntshow down doesnt have just one Problem they have like dozens of Problems that i dont like, now one or two of them on their own i would Forgive and more on the point. take this game for exp in predator theres a few like Long match make times tones of Bugs that stops the flow of Gameplay for the predator things like that. i can forgive them because over all its not that many things going wrong for the game theres alot going for it so i can forgive them for it.
but in hunt its not the case theres loads of areas in the game thats Not just wrong but it feels like they want it to be wrong and Dress it up pretending it to be right.
just when games do that thats not something i wanna be apart of and alot of other players feel the same way, proof of that is the Decrease in player base for that game Daily. so i mean…
Yeah nah Hunt’s maintained a steady 5-6k pop all this year and this has been its highest year ever so if anything they should keep doing what they’re doing with their early access game.
If you had dozens of problems with it you should’ve opened with “it has things I dont like” instead of steamcharts.
