No you had the babies whining about being chased down in second wind so they added blind affect so you could get away instead of addressing why we are be put in 2nd wind so easy in the first place it was literally spelled out in black and white for them the majority is being caused by stupid spot spamming and the fact that we make so much noise you could find us blind.

problem with this response is that predator ranged is broken as is the sound alerts. the disc (one of the greatest weapons in the predator universe), is pretty much useless because of both sound and lack of range.
Even the combi… I’ve put it straight through someone that then simply continued to shoot…
And then the plasma cannon… unless you use it melee don’t bother

Predator need a buff. Fireteams shouldn’t be joining missions just to hunt the predator, they should be scared of it.
But I don’t play predator and I’ve only been able to play 1 game since the patch, due to constantly crashing back to the main menu, missing friends on my list, not being able to invite friends and a massive increase in game wait times, only to have no predators join.
I have no idea how the patch has helped the balance, or not. I just know it’s broken the game for me in other ways.
And to nurf the vert you actually get from those ‘addictive game mechanic’ loot boxes, well that just shows the developers don’t respect the players time.
Developers need to stop releasing patches on a Friday, then going home for the weekend and start actually testing their patches themselves.
You know…I see a lot of pissed off Fireteam Mains now that the character WHO’s FREGGIN NAME IS THE GAME TITLE is where he was supposed to be…In the “Driver’s Seat”.
The Predator is supposed to be this Hard to Kill Badass not some translucent shooting gallery object!

That would be a lot more said than done if the FT wasn’t playing against mindless AI with quite simple objectives. The game was tailored to the FT heavily. The Scout Predator, who is the model on which the gameplay you speak of should be played with, is totally underutilized to actually be played with in that style. Yes, you can find ways around and work with good perks, but he’s simply still not proper. I don’t play the way you speak of, I try to play more tactical, but sometimes you do need to rush a few and see where it takes you. The ft has plenty of defense towards the Pred.

I remember a match I played as FT not long ago.
We were at an objective, doing the stuff, then I hear strange sounds. I’m like “whats that? Ive never heard that before!” Im looking around wondering. Then I notice the arrows. Seems like he was shooting us with the bow (didnt do any damage from what I could see), so we retreat indoor.
Then I hear a strange vzzz vzzz vzzz sound. Again I wonder what it is. After a while of VZZZ VZZZing, a disk flies slowly thru the door like a paper airplane, and buries itself on the floor. Im like crouching, looking at it, being all “Hmmm. Curious.”
(Yeah, totally sounds like one of the strongest weapons in predator universe all right)
In the end the predator decides to switch to melee and kills most of us.

when the coms break (which is often/always), you can hear FT players talking (the actual players), the moment you fire the disc they talk that the disc is fired…
you get that stick through you it shouldn’t just hurt…
FT medkits from a total maximum of 48 without stimpacks and medical stations versus a Predator with a maximum of 3 heals, 4 to 5 if he finds a bunch of boars he has no way to track.
Apparently that is what passes for ‘balance’ in that world of yours.
insta kill would be unbalanced since itd be easy to drop rezing fire team members and leaping on it then back out again isnt very costly for another go at an insta kill or a sprint in and out, theres also its abilitity to be thrown with out detection
actually it would balance up a lot, and leap doesn’t work that fast it’s got a cool down. There’s no detection on bullets against a pred, only if they actually label him/her spotted.
Why should every pred weapon throw up alarms and massive noise? it actually completely goes against what the entire concept of what the predator and the entire race he/she comes from are. They are ultra stealth intergalactic hunters…
