Rage quitting ruining game.

But I’m looking at it purely from a gaming angle.
Trying to keep balance in mind.

In order to get what you’ve said, things would have to change.
Missions would have to be longer and more complex, with a bigger focus on team work and cooperation,
Maps way bigger.

Otherwise it would be even easier for ft now lol.

How can we address the rage quitting?

Preds can go for stealth kills instead of wiping FT off the board to the purgatory party.

Anything else?

Rage quit servers?

Start with half health the next game?

Watered down mud for the next game? (Mud duration cut in half?)

Half ammo? Half or no gear?

Trying to not make it an incentive to “win with the ban penalty” in mind, so maybe make it so painful you don’t want to leave before endgame of a match?

It’s like playing rockleauge when someone quits off your team and now the other team has the advantage.

Oh. But that i’ve already agreed. Bigger and new maps. And bigger missions should be already available in game.
Like, it could be created a new mode for normal missions. With bigger maps and 25/30 min missions.
And keep the actual ones for a “quick match” mode. On quick match, Pred can have the ability to locate radio/chopper. On normal missions, only perk based or not at all.
I can buy that.
And add specializations do Predator.
And that’s it. For me, with those upgrades on this post, Illfonic didn’t even have to touch the game anymore (only bug/glitch fixes).

its because Illfonic has a bunch of retards running around. Keep pushing at OP pay to win characters instead of balancing the fucking game.

I told you, go for rewards instead of penalties.
Like they do in call of duty.

In ghost there was a calling card that looked bad ass.
You had to get 400 kills with akimbo 44 revolvers, with acog scopes on them.

It was a pain in the ass but I went for it.
Making challenges like this is better than punishing ppl.

How bout the fireteam each have an extra life. When you die auto respawn. You spawn where you first inflitrated. You get got again that’s your ass. No more lives. No waiting no excuses. No trapped radio, prioritization on team work and being a star.

With a bit more tweaks, yeah.
You dont even really need a perk for it.
I’m sure the ship can scan but,

Just make the chopper really stand out.

Like extra loud and whatnot.

So pred can just follow it.
If you miss it, it’s on you.

That’s a great idea until you run into a 4 man squad of field medics with self revive syringes

people will think your trolling them though and then just quit all the same happens to me alot when i go for stealth kills on baddies

for real though there is really only 2 avenues illfonic could take here

option 1: Leaver penalty if FT leaves a game before reinforce they must wait an additional 3 minutes before they can que for a game they also can’t join a party to circumvent this que as long as predator que times remain over 8 min they can’t receive this penalty if FT que somehow also breached this number this penalty would be removed

option 2: make reinforcements stronger by allowing them to occur faster (let’s say 40seconds faster)so people will feel like they are more likely to be reinforced

punishing FT for rage quit will only make Pred queues even worse. with the small player base is just a bad idea. If we had a huge player base of millions of player, for sure, go for it. But when we just have a couple thousands players, man…

I think the reinforcement should revert back to what it was before, 60 seconds seems fair.

I noticed that people usually rage quit when you kill them very early in the match. Like within the first minute. TBH, I don’t blame them. I too would be pissed off, LOL

I would actually like for the game to not identify if you are on console or PC. That way people would stop misjudging others because they are biased.

For example, rage quit was a big problem over the years in Star Wars The Old Republic PVP.

Match starts, someone gets killed (they respawn right away tho), they leave the match and the team misses 1, 2 or more members in the team, making it impossible to win the match.

Same story as in this game.

BioWare then implemented a 15 min ban for rage quitters. You rage quit, possibly dooming your own team, you can’t queue for a new match for the next 15 minutes.

Guess what, rarely anyone rage quits now 'cause of that mechanic.

adults will learn that… the 80% 10 year olds potatoes, do not.

Then we will have 45 min queue for pred

tbh probably on PS4 there is more consistency. On PC everyone has a different performance, even on the same GPU. I would also like for crossplay to be forced, but to be fair on that there would have to be a much better aim assist, as this game aim assist is trash.

right now, ironically, the game performs better on a PS5 than on an RTX 2080
