I dont think that makes sense.

Think about it. if it does 60% of 100. thats 40 left.
Then it does 60% of 40… thats 24 left.
60% of 24… thats 14.4 left
then 8.4 left…

You see, it means you would never kill them because each attack only takes a percentage of the life left.

Or do you mean it just takes 60% each time, meaning 2 is 120%?

But that means it does more damage the more health you have. so the class you chose and higher health doesnt make any difference.

I said it does a percentage of max health. And it is 66.3%. So for a Recon or Scout with no perks affecting health or Pred damage resistance on first slam at full health it drops health from 125 to 42. This is consistent. That’s 83 damage. Every slam to a Scout or Recon does this much. Tested with a Scout Pred

And yes, if you run a Support with the extra health perk it does a higher amount of damage, based on percentage. I will run the test again and record the numbers for each different health total and with/without OWLF training.

Here’s the results recorded from Phase 1 of the testing. The numbers were not entirely consistent so I used the most common outcome as the baseline for doing the math on it.


SUPPORT

W/ BASE HEALTH = 175

AFTER SLAM

TEST 1 = 97, 71, 71, 71

TEST 2 = 82, 71, 71, 71

TEST 3 = 80, 71, 71, 71

71 ÷ 175 = 40.57% REMAINING

100 - 40.57 = 59.43% DAMAGE DONE PER SLAM

W/ THICK SKIN= 190

AFTER SLAM

TEST 1 = 86, 86, 86, 86

TEST 2 = 95, 95, 95, 95

TEST 3 = 95, 95, 95, 95

95 ÷ 190= 50.00% REMAINING

[100 - 45.26] = 50.00% DAMAGE DONE PER SLAM

W/ OWLF TRAINING = 175

AFTER SLAM

TEST 1 = 85, 76, 76, 76

TEST 2 = 87, 76, 76, 76

TEST 3 = 76, 76, 76, 76

76 ÷ 175 = 40.00% REMAINING

[100 - 40] = 60.00% DAMAGE DONE PER SLAM

As you can see the first slam of the match would often yield a lesser amount of damage for some odd, buggy reason. Also, surprisingly, OWLF Training apparently makes you less resistant to Leap Slam damage rather than more, very strange. At least in the case of the Support class. Having only 6 perk points the combination of OWLF Training and Thick Skin could not be tested for Support.

Idk about anyone else, but 50% to 60% of max health damage being dealt on every slam, PLUS a flashbang effect added on top, is stupidly OP imo

yea… no. removing leap slam completely is another slap in the face to an already limited pool of ways to punish FT’s just staying together, should be multiple ways to punish them.

It does need to be dialed back tho. There is no reason why you should be able to down a Support in 2 hits, it’s ridiculous.
