Watching a Youtuber making a Fireteam miserable (while abusing the bugged slam on the roof) downing them over and over just to get a stealth kill animation. Why isn’t stealth more encouraged for the Predator to begin with anyway?
Remove the three DBNO requirement for stealth kills
because its too damn loud and its cloaking is horrendous… you also need to get a FT member down to a certain amount of HP to get the prompt.
impossible to be stealthing when your announcing your arrival or your already here.
The prerequisite of 3 downs is a bit much. Even as a Pred.
Like you have to on one person like an asshole ontop of not accidentally killing him in a fray
But at the same time, I cant even remotely thing of how to set up a stealth kill that wouldn’t be completely unfair, or a easy kill.
Isn’t it they have be downed a certain amount of times? Not based on health?
I talked about this in my guide. The simplest solution I can think of, is that both A, the FT member has to be standing still, and B pred has to be cloaked.
But of course this is under the presumption that the cloak isnt as absolute dog shit as it is now.

I am so sure its on the final down. You see a white skull on them. If you down them they just did this time.
Still, even so one offing one person for free is kinda messed up.
But something has to be better than miserably downing the same person over and over.
Its not for free though. Not by any means. Predator has to successfully sneak through and around the fireteam, whilst also managing his energy so his cloak doesnt die, whilst also taking a fireteam member thats standing still.
Its no more free than a single ft member reinforcing his entire team as far as im concerned.
But I dont try to balance things based on how the game plays now. It plays like dog shit and thats why its dying hard and fast. So in my guide I outlined very clearly how it should play. And as such how an assassination may play into that.
I read that a while ago, unfortunately you and the other guys have good ideas but honestly, real talk I doubt it gonna be utilized. I agree and disagree with both of you
I had my own suggestions concerning revamps to speed over all on both sides and weapons and forcing actual roles but its all deaf ears at this point.

If they make big(ish) change/patch even if it dont pan out so well, its still a positive sign. It means through all the silence, illfonic is not dedicated to just DLC.
Even if they do this monthly only, it means the community can see a “time line” and we can push our ideas/requests/needs/hostage demands

actually getting a stealth kill of legit in stealth and them not knowing you’re there is pretty damn hard because every step you make they can hear like you’re fucking godzilla

You do turn invisible when standing still. And leaps are dead silent so if you do it right sometimes they won’t notice where you jumped and run right past you.
Given the typical prompts, it’ll pop up suddenly and you get a free kill.
Slightly risky but its a complete free kill if that’s how was changed to.
As much as I play Pred still doesn’t seem fair to the poor shmuck you happened to pull the trigger on. Movies are movies, balanced game play is very different.
Still there’s gotta be better when than just abusing the shit of one dude till the game says thats enough, just let him die.
i think as long as they are low hp they should be stealth killable you shouldnt have to down them

Thats not a bad idea. I just dont like the idea of the pred stealth killing much after the first engagement as by that point it doesnt make much sense. The element of surprise is gone
But the bait idea is a good idea. It would also be interesting if you could use the FT bodies as bait
