You don’t have to challenge anyone’s opinion, but at the same time you’re not trying to discredit them, because you experienced it yourself.
Revisiting PC low graphics Aug 2021
In agreeing with you. There is a small advantage to increasing your FPS. It’s undeniable.
My feeling is why not use an equalizer, like consoles. How much money are you going to spend on better graphics cards, cooling systems, monitors, etc. If your not playing for cash rewards, would that be worth it. 🤷♂️
I’m very happy with the PS5. I know everybody else is using the same hardware. 60 FPS already looks smooth. Apparently, cellphones and streaming are limited 60 FPS regardless and typical movies run at 24 FPS. I have absolutely zero desire to change anything about that.
Well, that “small” difference as you call it, means a win or a loss for pro players. Now, for casuals like myself, it makes a better experience, but there is no doubt my performance in this game as ft is better than most. Whether it’s do to using a mouse to aim, or simply having an overall strong PC, Idk. But, I’ll leave it as better experience since I don’t play at a pro level. So, is it worth spending all that money to get a better experience? My subjective answer is YES. Just like switching from cloth seats to leather, I’m never going back to cloth.
Well i will upgrade my graphics card just like you guys upgrade console, regardless.
As for monitor… Dude my monitor was $300 for a 32 inch. A regular “non gaming” 32 inch was like $30 less.
You speak as if all players are spending thousands on their rigs when the reality is all these technologies are available for cheap if you are patient and know where to look.
Even my GPU I bought it for like $350… A $550 GPU when it launched
That’s where the subjectivity comes into play. I understand that you feel that it’s a better experience for you, but, like I said, I have a better experience for my own reasons.
At this point you’re just arguing for the sake of arguing.
So, I’m just gonna go do something else, and let everyone here have their own SUBJECTIVITY.
I thought you play the game on low graphics for a better frame rate?
I actually dont because the game looks like crap and i dont play sweaty
Whenever im playing (rarely) against a sweaty competitive player, i may, if i feel like it, yes, low graphics so I can get 144 fps which my monitor supports
Exactly. For console only gameplay, the game always looks great, and I don’t have to worry about anyone having a frame rate advantage on me. It’s win-win, IMO.
Man that’s the only way to play pvp games
Don’t you want to see your enemies driven before you and hear the lamentations of their women?
So you recognize there is an advantage having over 60 fps. Okay
They still do while i play half ass drunk
Yes. I did the math above. More than likely, individual reaction times and ping will matter more, but absolutely there is a small advantage.
Why am I not surprised?!

When caffeine just ain’t doing it no more 🤷🏽♂️
@SkooLBoY_SkePtiK like I said before, you’re not taking into consideration all factors. 60hz TVs have horrible input lag compared to high refresh rate monitors.
Do you even know what input lag is?
Your simple math does not apply in this case, since there are other factors to consider.
Just stop with this “I know everything” attitude.
This is the reason why we have bullshit arguments on this forum, because someone always assumes they are right 100% of the time. In this case, you are wrong.
So, idk what else to say man.
Here is a link to a very reputable site where you can learn a little more on the subject of input lag and compare between TV and monitor models.
It’s a lot more complicated than it seems.
Yes. I know about input lag from brother who actually dabbles in PC gaming.
Do you know how I would figure out how much input lag I would have from a particular TV?
Never mind. Looking into that list from your last post.
I wouldn’t worry too much about screen input lag on console. If you play with a wireless controller that’s comparable to playing on PC with an amazon basics wireless K&M. The input lag from a wireless device is ridiculous
Look it up on that site I sent you, they test most TVs and monitors. If you don’t find it there, you can get an idea of maybe a future purchase. I’m considering the Samsung QLED 70 for a 4k gaming TV since it has native 120hz and good input lag. Hopefully during black Friday I can find a good deal this year.
