Scout w/ adrenal boost is OP

Scout has the highest skill ceiling by far but once you get the hang of shoot jump shoot it is incredibly hard for the FT to kill a scout unless they get stupid and greedy with a claim or a melee attack.

Build:
bow and disc
Healing kit and motion sensors
Adrenal boost, impenetrable, down range

All your weapons are ranged so literally no reason not to take down range.
Impenetrable, you have very little health so keeping as much of it as possible is your top priority.
Adrenal boost, your mobility is your main defense. FT can’t hit you if they can’t target you. Scout already has high stamina regen but this puts it into the stratosphere.

Once you realize how incredibly fast and agile scout is, hunter and berserker feel like playing sloths in comparison. I’ve literally leaped around the FT in circles and they couldn’t target me, you’re just too fast to hit with precision.

Honestly I don’t get the Scout hype yet, I tried Zerkers and they’re too clunky and I feel FT’s see enough of them at capable levels of play. I Love my hunter because I can stack Fearless, Impenetrable AND Adrenal Boost. I tank about as much as I need with the Hunter’s health pool, while being super mobile. Not sure why people need that extra long jump or faster tree speed, I leap circles around foes and hit like a tank without the zerker’s massive hitbox(is it bigger?) and the scout’s glass jaw.

I did make a range meta Scout but I guess I just can’t finish games with that playstyle.

Holy crap a scout is suppose to be fast and agile, playing hard to hit, quit crying and learn to aim.

Ok and what are you doing to damage the FT while jumping around? They can’t target you but you can’t target them neither.

If you stand still, cloacked, a good FT premade team will spot you and shoot you down

Adrenal boost IS good, however, I don’t think it’s necessary for scout. You can already leap ten times consecutively without it, and stamina also regenerates as fast as a hunter w/ adrenal. If you bottom out, the recovery is only two seconds.

Where adrenal boost really shrines is giving a hunter nearly the same mobility as a scout.

u can use dithered lens sometimes, is very usefull to use plasma as u jump from place to place.
i dont use impen. but is a good to have it when u face 3-4 dutches…

and u can use combi with down range and have a one shot (scout and recon) when u trow it

High skill ceiling = not op leave scout alone he’s fine. I’ve been playing that build since launch minus impenetrable basically if you’re not good you’ll still lose even if you are good if the fireteams adapts to your leaping patterns you’ll die. The build only takes you so far your skill and decision making is the only thing that decides if you’ll win or lose when it comes to this build

I do the jump to and fro game with hunter and leap/adrenal. LOVE IT

Oh and I also use scout with light bender modified reserve and long jump. Love that build too. Bow and disk all day on that. Bow and net launcher on my hunter since he can get up close and nasty more often.

6 is reasonable with the Adrenal Perk

No, a scout can leap 10 times, consecutively, before fully exhausting stamina without using the adrenal perk (max distance leaps.) The hunter class can only leap twice in a row without exhausting, which increases to 8 max distance leaps to exhaust if using adrenal boost (nearly the 10 a scout can do without the adrenal perk.) These are max distance leaps, for emphasis. If you’re doing super short leaps, you will exhaust quicker because you’re spending less time in the air to recharge stamina. All leaps eat 50% of your bar, regardless of distance traveled.

You can test for yourself by simply leaping back and forth between the same two spots in a private match.

Without the adrenal perk…it’s only 4 leaps for scout. I have tested it + I play scout every day.

Not sure how you’re exhausting stamina on four leaps, must be very inefficient. Are you sprinting or something? Did scout get a big nerf?

I promise you it’s 10 leaps, without adrenal boost.

😝 definitly 4 leaps in a row with no sprinting.

You don’t mean “jump” do you? Leap and jump are different.

I agree with you , but it’s a risky play against experienced ft players, but its useful against most of the players we find.
i preffer the hunter with impenetrable, down range, and the melee boost one (I forgot the name) coupled with the net gun and bear traps to take down all kind of players we may come across.
Scout is a very good class for the very brave too

4 no perk, 6 with the perk.

I mean you can squeeze one or maybe two more out of it if you can find somewhere to get a lot of extra air time, but on flat ground 4 or 6 is what is expected.
