Im sure republicans are not that much better. The whole system stinks. They get their opportunity at power and make the most of it, while people keep voting for one side or the other, but nothing is changing. We are at a loss here cause in the end both sides like the way things are.
They need each other to keep the cycle going and to give people hope that once one side screws up, the other one will come on to save the day, and so in and so on.

At this point I hold the idea that all politicians who are electable are corrupt to some degree. If you’re not corrupt, there won’t be munny behind your campaign, if there’s no munny, you won’t win. Perhaps Trump was different.

I think reps didn’t much like him either. They just used him to stay in power. Trump potentially could have unified the country, but he had to pick a side, thus alienating the other side. The game is rigged

That’s what we need from independent media. Just say that both sides are bad and keep saying. Maybe in 100 years from now, and independent will win the presidency.
Probably not that good of an idea. Instead, take munny out if politics. Put everyone on 60k salaries and no donation of any kind. No lavish campaigns either, just public access information and one televised apperance. Only people who want to truly govern should be on politics and not people who are out to make nubby and power hungry.
