Sorry but I’ve had 5 games with the pred today and each one i purposely tried to blow others up and they defused each one… Can’t you make the defuse have a sequence like off shemnue with the buttons that come and you have to press.the right one at the right time and if you get it wrong then you have to run.

Dude, they already made the defuse harder in this patch. What more do you want, to make it so impossible that only 1% of players can do it. It’s a video game, you died get over it. And before you’re like ooooh another FT talking shit. I’m a Pred main, you got beat simple as that.

So the FT should get no chance to be rewarded for their hard work of putting you in the dirt? They added like 12 more characters that you have to scroll through. I swear some people are just never happy…

Are you purposely trying to be fools or trolls or group of idiots… I played 5 games one after the other and purposely blew myself up to see if the self destruct was harder. And each one they defused…dont make sense. If you want to be jackasses so be it but I proved my point that it needs to be harder

It is harder and that is a FACT. Perhaps is not as hard as YOU want. Now, try it differently. Play fireteam and see how hard it is to disarm it.

Then instead of coming into the forum and just complaining, try this. Don’t just identify the problem, create a solution that can then be debated. Because to me and most everyone else on here, it just looks like an angry rant that you lost.

I have created a solution… Do you read, have you played shemnue with the button sequence that comes at you and if you get it wrong you fail or have to retry. Well they should make the self destruct like that, make it so if the square appears and you press x then you have to run
If it’s harder then those 5 guys one after the other must of been brothers with engineering degrees in computer science
You are in the forum trying to prove to us that you “died on purpose” even though we know and you know that you’re bad. Here’s some advice to balance the self destruct:
Don’t fuckin die on purpose?
Why would you purposefully lose? It’s a desperate last measure. Like a bee stinging you and then dying. Or even better analogy, a literal hail Mary. You don’t hear football coaches throwing hail Mary’s at halftime screaming, “these are too difficult!”

They increased the number of variables and made it blurry (don’t know how to best describe it). So its harder and that is a fact. They increased the difficulty. How hard is to comprehend.

Here would be the way to phrase what you are trying to say if what you you claim is legitimate. “So today I wanted to test the validity of the new patch’s self destruct mechanism. I self destructed 5 times and each time it was defused. I believe we can make it slightly harder by implementing XYZ…what are the community’s thoughts?” Otherwise when you jump in the way you did, it sounds like a rant.

Paperchump please don’t assume that you know me or my methods of play…i tested this and proved it is still flawed whether you chose to believe or not that is up to you…
I can agree, I let my frustrations cloud my Thoughts and you are right I could of come about it better

I will say this, since they have implented the challenges which reward VT, I am now playing FT more and more. My regular fireteam members and I kill the Pred in 99% of matches. I am the teams defuser. Before the patch I was getting it 100% of the time because I knew the rotation of the characters. With the new characters added the difficulty has absolutely been raised. Also, if the team takes awhile to fully down the Pred, you get less time to defuse. That on top of roughly 24 characters to scroll through per box has dropped my defuse success rate to around 80%. But I gaurantee you in a week, it will be 100% again. Like everything in a video game, it only needs to be practiced to master it. No matter what they do, people will master and beat it.
make it harder? the rare time i die i ussualy never reach the two last laugh of the predator self destruct and on the last 3 time that happened the guys where always like “Gg ez defusing” “lol ez” … … so in basic defuse should not exist.
