Seriously? Why are so many ppl still so potato as FT?

Started my first match today.
2 PC+2Console against 1 Console Predator.
None of them had com so I was the only one giving calls and talking.
They never spotted the Predator, it was like crazy as if I am the only one who can see him.
Several times he landed RIGHT BESIDE someone and those people didnt realise it.
I was hunting the predator and he jumped right towards another teammate and I even pointed with the marker were he would land and said it on com but no one was paying attention.
When taking a quick look at my team I saw they were hiding in corners and doing nothing but shooting NPCs while I was in a fight with the Pred the whole time. I mean at some point the Predator was going in for the kill but because they didnt stay in proxy it was OBVIOUS they couldnt reach each other to help.
I mean why is this game still full of Potato Players on FT? Its so fucking frustrating to play against good Predators when your whole Team is brain afk and acts like playing for the first time. But dont say they are cause they have miniguns which means they must be at least Level 61.

p.s.
Whats funny, 2 days ago I was matched in a 2vs1 game and had a nice PC player from UK.
The Predator was underestimating us and after a tough back and forth we actually managed to kill him. Yes in a 2vs1 scenario. That was a fun match and we both were on coms and had fun and had a nice conversation aswell.

Idk but otherwise people are mainly so potato it hurts.

Who? 99% of the FT-playerbase? I doubt it. When I play like 10 matches, in 9 of them you think they just started playing but everyone has already a minigun! Sry can believe that they just started.

Anyway if anyone who reads this is on PC hit me with an PM. I’ll add you.
Need to start to find good players who are willing to play as a team.

Well im so glad you are not blaming the game!

You re right but think that some people may have just got the game today and be really ass…

i try to play as hard as the fireteam play, if they are potatoe i give them loads of chances and i will let them get up from a down etc. let them reinforce cuz it gives them more time in game to learn.

But some yeh, pure potatoe and then quit when u kill them, havnt even used reinforcment yet lol

Those players will leave pretty quick i think. its still pretty new game

about the minigun, i hear a few people just farm the solo play to get level up but then they learn nothing…

New players man, give them a chance to adapt. Some people take longer to adapt, if you don’t enjoy FT try with friends or pred, or I’m sure if you ask the forums people would play with you.

No I am actually a total nice guy who is willing to help out new players.
Just when people ignore every call and dont help when the Predator is attacking a teammate it triggers me.

Fyi teamchat is trash you can barely hear anyone also the predator can hear you

I have switched to mainly playing as Pred because of the trash FT players and lack of mics. Unless i have a party, i barely bother with FT anymore. There were times that the Pred was such trash that i almost took him down by myself because my teammates were busy sight seeing. And they couldn’t even help out with 2 fuckin bullets so we end up losing. It sucks. I’ll wait 10min for a Pred match instead of wasting 10 on trash teammates.

its enough to hear the important stuff and you can also adjust audio settings so you hear it better.
Predator hearing FT is absolutely not big of a help for him. Its rather the opposite, you need to hear him.
And if I talk the Predator might get more distracted cause his senses are more under pressure when using infrared vision and stuff like that.
just my 2 cents.

Remember that those who preordered get the minigun immediately though it’s weird that they wouldn’t have played very much by this point. I think you underestimate the abilities of people right now for two reasons, the first being: average Playstation gamers, especially those drawn to games of this genre, are fairly casual and have played zero to few FPS games. Second: we are currently in a massive quarantine and all the folks who don’t game very much have started doing so out of boredom.

While it’s been fun mowing down all of the trash in several different games lately, cooperative modes have become very annoying to play and this game is no exception.

No it makes absolute sense, no need to even elaborate on that. It figures why people are so bad in this game. I dont think console players are bad in perse, but as u said many casual players joined and have not much gaming experience whatsoever.
I also forgot that you get the minigun when you preordered. Makes sense that I see many having it when I am still at level 59. lol

Well not much has changed other than matchmaking is a bit faster but my teams are still 99% full potatoes. And I dont exaggerate!
Added you 2 in my Epic friends list but I have no idea how to invite you ingame.
When I open the friends list ingame it doesnt show me any names today.
