As of now thousands of currently benign mastocytotic microtumors in my skin, blood, and every organ in my body, even the bones.
Any one of them could go cancerous at any time, and given the fact I experience a lot of not too pleasant symptoms from the extremely rare genetic disease causing them, I wouldn’t know anything is off until stage 3 or 4, so it’d very likely be terminal.
That and I’m genetically predetermined to develop 2 unrelated types of skin cancer in my 30s-40s, as well as having increased risk of testicular cancer, leukemia, and lymphoma to name a few.

I feel you on the lung problems, the most noticeable problem for me is that the microtumors crowd my lungs making breathing difficult on top of asthma.
That must have been absolute hell to go through, necrotic sepsis is no laughing matter on top of just having survived a lung carcinoma removal.
I’m in school to become a doctor of oncology to help people like us and my father, who is also a cancer survivor of 2 skin cancers and testicular cancer.
I believe that with enough time and research that nobody has to die or suffer from cancer, and I want to be a part of that.

One of the biggest sins a doctor can commit is not listening to the patient, and it unfortunately is all too common in the healthcare system. I’m sorry you had to go through all that before they finally got it sorted out.
