What I think he is saying is that as far as we know, the Plasma tech weapons have always done AoE through objects unless anyone has data to prove otherwise?

Thats what I was wondering too…Like I never heard or saw ppl slamming roofs in early days or before 1.06 patch even? Maybe they did I just dont remember thats why im asking
People may have just noticed it better since they added the blinding effect in 1.06, that’s my guess anyways.
Or maybe something was messed up when the damage values for all Plasma tech was being tweaked. Who knows?

This is why many (myself included) are in the camp that the plasma tech AoE going through objects is intended, as at least it is consistent across the tech.
It’s probable if this thread is accurate.

Oh yea I mean FT players for sure find out first hand lol…But like I never play FT right so it’d just be awhile for me to probably realize it had that effect being PRedator all the time without reading about it. Yea there is a slight animation there its jsut hard to clearly see it at times since ur screen gets all distorted to a degree and what not when it activates 2nd wind

Even if the game was balanced, you can always rebalance it for a different demographic.

This was bad. Try harder next time. The predator is faster but needs to actually lose the FT so they can heal. Remember? Predator low on health, need heal. Healing takes forever so the distance he gains needs to be substantial or he is dead.

You see, I have played some solid teams and have seen what they can do. It’s humbling although keeping the balance in mind does help with becoming too despondent.

Why don’t you just spot spam then. Isn’t this what you trash Fireteam players do anyway? Or maybe you could just hide in or under a building an circle jerk each other until the timer runs out. Would this be acceptable to you?

While everyone complains about the Slam being OP, a majority of those complainers are the ones who love to huddle in Buildings and wait for you to approach them so they can gang up on you.
It’s all about Strategy. I’ve had a lot of success slamming Buildings and groups of Fireteam Members, causing them to scramble and lose focus on you.

There are many objectives in those buildings you say fire team huddle in you donut whilst having Ai attack them you spoon feed predator main bastards still use the exploit on the roof lol illfonic just loves to feed you desperate predators victories dont they.
