slam...

I am not sure you’ve followed the discussion well. I am saying a good predator will have no issues losing the FT to heal.

Imagine if the fireteam could fire trough objects(likebuildings, trees, cliffs) and then explaining to the predator yelling exploit that he should learn to reposition.

I think the roof slam is legit, it’s just aoe and it’s fully draining the Predator. I had a group pinned down in a room with bow, they refused to leave, so I slammed them… then they left. The fireteam has tons of advantages, this one for Predator isn’t too bad. I say this as someone who plays it 40/60 pred/ft for even perspective

Nop, PC. No idea what that has to do with anything. I also main fireteam.

Sure, as long as a predator standing still becomes clearly visible after soem seconds, so he also has to “move”.

Explosives go through objects. Yes you can just throw frags at the wall and hit the pred standing on the skylight. So I don’t know why he would be yelling exploit.

What’s being argued as an exploit is the animation cancel

Nope nope, not gonna convince me of that one, spotting and hitting with a bullet in the direction is the method to make me move. It’s a bitch standing still and bow firing on moving targets.

I had a match last night where I corralled the entire FT into a building with only 1 door, and just spammed PC on the doorway. I bombarded the door for almost a minute, trapping them inside. (Scout can spam uncharged PC indefinitely and even sneak a few charged ones in here or there). They probably could have rushed out but I am not sure why they did not. Maybe because I had also been chipping away at their supplies previously, or maybe they had another reason.

The FT did not even attempt to leave the building, and there was no way I was going through that door. This was also not very fun for me and and I imagine not for them either.

Unfortunately my recording of it did not work.

LoI never thought i’d see the day someone said preds cloak is too strong.

But then again you don’t know how to hit someone healing ontop of the warehouse 10 ft away so its questionable.

Yeah no they just stay there until they die and then bitch about it. I don’t get it. Same with people who hide under the piers and bridge.

Well you’re the opinion that the only way to get people out of buildings is to use exploits so I would not brag.

I have a rule when it comes to using the slam through the roof, and it only applies to small buildings with 1 entrance. Aside from that I avoid slamming through walls.

If the FT is going to stay huddled in the building with their medkits I’ll shoot up to 5 fully charged plasma shots in there to damage them with AoE. If they haven’t left the building by then, they have no desire to leave at all so I’m just going to end it with a slam.

Legit! You mad lol If fire team mains knew that the predator can slam them from on the roof top straight through to the fucking building to damage/kill them do you actually believe they’d have brought the game lmfao, its supposed to be about balanced not some mickey mouse bullshit. Lmfao.

This aint fortnite ffs lol

Hey I get the frustration, I play both sides, but a well coordinated fireteam isn’t going to huddle in one room, they take it to the Predator and this whole thing is void. This whole forum is people complaining from both sides about some unbalanced this or exploit that, and it’s usually relegated to what you play most. I play both fairly evenly and the game is what it is for now, use every tool you got, they may change it, but screw it, I want to win, don’t care how cheap it is, that’s just me.

Chances are if you’re all hiding in the building instead of playing the game to begin with the slam is just to get the game over with since you’ve decided to stop moving and sit there and shoot at ankles or peek a doorway for 3 mins.

I’ve seen too many just crouched under the docks so they get a line of sight of the preds feet & think he has to be down there to shoot through that tiny ass crouched opening. Fuck off with that.

In this case it did not get them out of the building. I was firing the PC from quite far away. Nobody even exited when I stopped to spend 4-6 seconds to reposition begin the slamming. This FT stayed inside and let me space jam them twice and down them all

I felt they would probably start quitting the match if our ranged stand-off went on much longer so I put us all out of our misery. And yes I realize I could have also poked them through the walls with PC AoE, but this was more of an experiment to see how a FT would react to a Predator “playing right.”

who heal themself right in front of the enemy?
and im talking about a medical kit

I play both predator/fire team but speaking for every real predator fan out there, we just had a recent movie fuck up and laughed at with utter complete bollocks thanks to shane black but now illfonics creates this shit and thinks its acceptable to have these sorts of mechanics in this game too further fuck the franchise and make it laughing stock lol thats bad mate.

Illfonic probably hired shane black to come up with the in game ideas! lmfao.

I feel it should render the FT useless and cause damage, not death…

I’ve had so many games where I’m not purposefully camping, but a teammate gets downed in a building, reinforcements already used so you know… strength in numbers, I go help said teammate, we get slammed and the GAME IS OVER.

Why not make it so it heavily damages the FT, but beyond a certain point, maybe stops dealing damage at 50 hp? Or maybe even 1 to screw the team over for “camping”.

Cant stand losing to this exploit.

In that case, would it not be better to leave the downed FT, tempt the Predator to go in for the trophy and use that time for the rest of you move off/cover each other and look to reinforce when that mission pops up?

Or even lay a trap for the Predator, send him into Second wind and then retrieve your teammate?

Predators will very often use a downed FT as bait for the others.
