Just waited for 15 minutes for a game that was empty… another 15 minutes to get into one finally… however when I do its just full of toxic people who love to ruin someone else’s fun, it’s driving me away from the game. Snipers are becoming a “meta” instead of an actual user playstyle which is as dumb as it sounds, the lower the playerbase becomes the more this shit starts to become noticeable and i’m tired of it. If your matches are full of scout players with snipers then you know something is clearly wrong with the game, fix this please because i’m not waiting another 30 minutes again just to get pissed off and ruin my night.

Rant over ahhhhhhhhh… so literally, snipers are too strong in terms of bullet velocity. A smart workaround for these weapons would be to add bullet time to the rifles to force players to compensate for distance and movement. I believe the damage is fine and will feel more rewarding with this type of behavior in place.

People are leaving and their not going to come back as long as they allow this shit to go on. This game needs to be better balanced towards FT just barely making it out of the map. The Predator should be overpowering and scary as all hell. The way the game is now the Predators are the hunted ones. I feel your pain in waiting all that time just to have FT use their OP tactics to ruin your gaming experience. Sorry but PvP players scream up and down that this is a balanced game that in retrospect shouldn’t be because it is 4 take on 1.

get off your high hores. Might as well fucking nerf your spam caster weapons, bow and plasma gun then. FT gets nerfed because of Bad Predator players like yourself.

I am good enough to kill the FT 8 out of 10 times I take out 2 to 3 and every 2 to 4 times out of 20 matches i completely wipe the FT. My rates are not the best but I get the job done when I am not hampered with glitches and super knife soldiers. From what I have been reading as of late 4 man scout teams with sniper rifles have been downing alot of Predators as well. I haven’t seen that for a bit myself but I know those teams are out there picking off Preds with spam spotting and what appears to be moded aiming controllers. There are cheats and glitch exploits that are being used.
Iam not getting into another battle with someone who clearly only sees one side of this games issue. I hope they keep nerfing FT and make this more and more like Friday the 13th. Mine and many other’s fingers are crossed. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Yep seems to be the general consensus of anyone who’s ever played an FPS ever. Hitscan snipers in their current state allow for 360 noscope bullshit & its just pointing and clicking with mouse when those players would be unable to actually hit those shots midleap unless they were that good.
You don’t need modded controllers, hacks, yadda or whatever the above guy is talking about, just a mouse hovering the pred and the bullet hits everytime so you get pinged by sniper hits twice in the middle of a leap and go “wtf hax” when the issue is that its not particularly hard to pull off. Same reason majority of shooters have projectile snipers otherwise they’re too strong being able to point and click on heads at a distance. Imagine if bow was hitscan and you just hit sprinting players without having to lead shots.

I don’t think you understand the concept of the game… you are not supposed to camp on a roof or a tree branch… (yes a tree branch) and shoot the predator for the whole game… you are supposed to be terrified 1 on 1 and grouping up with your team is essential… also y’know, complete the mission like you are supposed to… FT should be limited to the ground only, non of this jumping on pipes nonsense and sitting on a warehouse roof! But there is no point in arguing with someone who doesn’t understand what makes a game good or bad… pfft gamers these days “Ughh if you die by an exploit you need to git good”… you are obviously a complete tool and one of these toxic players I am talking about considering the way you replied to this post.

Funny because all of the weapons you just listed have travel time and bullet drop that has to be compensated for & require leading targets when FT weapons don’t. Which takes more skill distance bow or distance sniper lol?

Scout has been my go to class since Trial. It’s my favorite class, but they’re a glass cannon if Predator gets in melee range.

Sorry, my apologies for not elaborating on this more. The match I was in was full of people on mic being toxic assholes while this was all happening. Yeah sniping is fun but you shouldn’t be using it in this way, especially on a game like this. When I think about recon and scout I think about staying hidden, spotting the pred and shooting him when he is vulnerable. Not chasing him down with a squad all using the same scout sniper setup y’know. Sprinting and sniping just doesn’t make any sense to me, I don’t get why there isn’t anything in place to stop this in the first place.

Lol idk, me and one of my buddies love to get in game chat if the pred has a mic, and yell random shit at the pred. Cause it’s funny.

One time we also did it just to throw this one pred off, since he was doing well with a bow.

He had a sense of humor tho and was cool about it tho.

At least when I do it it’s just for entertainment.

We also run down and chase preds too.

Tone it out. If ppl are talking shit, or if your good at it, start talking shit back, or clown on them.
Most ppl if they see you got a sense of humor, lose aggression and try to have fun, and will start joking around with you.

Or, you can use it to throw them off lol.
Most ppl who shit talk cant concentrate if you clap back at them xD.

But if your uncomfortable doing that, just mute them, or tune them out.
I believe shit talking to be a viable strategy to getting in your opponent’s head, and throwing off their concentration. Like taunting too. You can use this typically to manipulate your opponent to move how you want them too.

Lol if you read all this, sorry for the lecture, it’s just my thoughts.

It’s a good suggestion but I use a soundboard to role play the pred from the movies, using all of his mimic cries and such which is why I don’t have them muted so I can hear their reactions. Most of the time people lose their shit and its so much fun, but that’s impossible to do when people play like this. I can’t be a predator and stalk my prey, I get shot down instantly and don’t stand a chance. Everything else i’m fine with, parrying is simple enough to avoid but snipers… I can’t even get close to them. Honestly anyone who plays like this is only thinking about themselves and its super shitty when I have to wait for a good 15-30 minutes just to play a single match that lasts 5 mins. Same thing goes for preds who run straight in and kill everyone in the first minute, I prefer to take my time and down them all one at a time until I can execute them which happens quite frequently within matches that I have played. The problem is… the game is simply too fast paced, I have seen lots of posts about this in the past.

That sound board usage sounds cool as hell.

I use the sniper, bolt action, and its it’s always my goal to shoot off the mask cause its extremely satisfying.
Even though, it is bull shit that 2 shots take off the mask.

But I don’t hold back on preds, when I’m ft, because I want them to learn that fighting the ft is all kinds of bullshit, and that they hopefully improve from our encounter. So if they lose, they are better next match.

As for pred, I’m there to have fun and test myself.
So I go, kill 3, then let 1 reinforce and do it again.

And then I pretty much let the last guy decide what happens, depending on how much time is left.

Since I dont need to win, or at least I don’t feel like I absolutely must anymore, if I see they just wanna do the mission, I let them.

I will also gladly wrist blade duel them if they have a knife. If they kill me in that duel, no hard feelings, good job buddy lol.

I will say, I agree with you, that the game is too fast paced and matches are too short.

I dont hold back on preds because I want everyone to realize how bad the current balance is lol! more people leaving or complaining is more likely to get a rework.

At which point Ima be like thanos and be like “You couldn’t live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.”

As they use my rework to no mans sky the game lol
