Tbh I love the smart disc. But having 80-90ms or above just makes it useless, it glitches so much to the point that you donā€™t even know where are you taking it.

I swapped to Combistick, while keeping the bow and it feels so much more rewarding.

What way does the servers work in this game? One match I can have 150+ ping and the next I can have below 10?

Bow is a weapon that demands attention. You need to practice a fair bit with it to actually start landing shots on targets which are moving (like Fire team members for example).

Itā€™s also very hard to land a shot if you have like 150+ ping, 'cause arrows will start flying where they wanna fly, not where you aim.

In my opinion, if thereā€™s a nearby lobby thatā€™s filling up and youā€™re in queue, youā€™re gonna get in.
When I say nearby, I mean somewhere in your region, where you live.

If there isnā€™t any, the game will try to connect you to the ā€œactiveā€ lobby, no matter where it is (which part of the world).

So thatā€™s why sometimes you get like 20 ms ping (server close to you) or you get 150 ms ping or more (server far away from you).

Try using the bow in a private match, you against AIā€™s or against friends, but make sure you host it, so that way you wonā€™t have a ping at all, then test your shots, itā€™s gonna feel different because thereā€™s no lag screwing your game.

I probably need to rebalanced my sensitivity setup , I hadnā€™t played the game for a couple of months and started using a different console , so my controls are just the standard from install

It felt pretty unresponsive at times . it felt like at times aswell that whenever I was trying to fire or charge my shot , I had to press the button twice to do so

I might try and record it , but really my interest in this game evaporated months ago , so Iā€™m not really upset about it šŸ˜†
