What are you all thinking of the new game?
I’m just wondering if it’s living up to the hype it built here in the forum.
So… is Aliens: fireteam all that and a bag of chips?

Its a fun arcade shooter
Nothing fancy
Makes me want a bug hunt mode for PHG
3 player controlled Yautja vs swarms of xenos
It definitely goes hand in hand with PHG for when you want a more casual experience

Played last night at midnight and it’s pretty fun. Me and my friends played and I think it’ll be how pred was in the beginning. It’s not game of the year but it’s pretty solid

In all fairness to P:HG this game did just come out so give it a few weeks and see how long it’ll retain that player base.

lmao… even forsen played the game and xqc… and if phg did not manage to get at least 10k people from those streamers, then yeah the game is ded
will go up, and the phg will go down and more than 50% of players who lose this game will play in the afte

People with negative reviews are already saying its repetitive once it’s done but that ls as expected with this type of game ND there’s different things to work for in the classes like mods and customs . But it does have a horde game mode that I’m probably go spend majority of my time on after beating the story. But most definitely those number will go down, although they have future content coming so who knows
I really hope they add a campaign that recreates Aliens
And that they add first person perspective

Wouldn’t be opposed to an additional dlc mission to play as aliens or even a pvp mode that’s similar to back 4 blood except aliens vs marines

Maybe you play as the queen and command the drones until the Marines make it to the queen where they fight

Seems interesting from what I’ve heard however the longevity of the game may suffer if it doesn’t get constant updates and dlc. Unlike P:HG this game is PvE so the matches will play out for the most part the same whereas this game any match can be different so to speak (not all that differently these days). Either way I’ll play it for what it is and if I like yay if not oh well.
