And aside from the blue screen, frame rate has been ungodly bad paired with melee strikes going right through people. Hoping this shit doesn’t happen on my ps5 when it arrives. I’m not picking up this shit heap again until that arrives.

Happened to me today as well!
After @Forever_Mello logged of the afternoon, I attempted to play Pred first got two infinite confectioning, After I got into a match I played till first contact!!! First Katana Heavy Attack Went into a infinite slide and boom blue screen! Did even try again at all today!

Gotcha. I paid about $900. Not thrilled with that but I don’t want to wait two more years. My base ps4 is definitely showing its age.

I honestly think your ps4 is a problem.
I’ve seen your vids and most of the time your games are very laggy, which means that your fps is dropping below 30 fps.
This could be cause of the high temperature, cpu would declock itself in order to lower the temperature but when it doesn’t manage to do so, you get the blue screen.
I still get blue screen and my system.is perfectly fine.
And i only get blue screen on the menus (p.e. ope ing field lockers) when the game is not taking much cpu/ram of the system. So, it s still a game problem.
Every other game I’ve ever had runs perfectly. It’s not the unit. It’s the game. 100% with you on the frames though. Terrible. Not internet either I’m hardwired in.
PS5 arriving next week so I’m hoping it’ll run better. A lot better.
In the menu’s the GPU is locked at 99% of usage, which heats up your whole system, thus the bluescreen. It is a game problem that affects PS and PC. I had bluescreens on my laptop and only this game caused it, guess what, it was a heat problem. As soon as I repasted my laptop and undervolted my cpu to get better temps, I never had a bluescreen again.
Cause this game is shit optimized. It’s a poor optimization that causes unnecessary heavy and constant load on GPU. Playstation shares the same heatsink for both GPU and CPU, so your GPU is gonna be a hot potato all the time while PHG is running, add heat from CPU and boom, bluescreen.
