So what’s a “win” for FT??

I see what your saying, but I think per the game mechanics I do not believe that would be considered a draw.

Well it is a win. While not of your mission, OWLF gets the body and you get paid.

Even if the last guy runs around mudding up and hiding? I’d count that as a win for Predator because the last guy was too scared to come out and fight. The Predator just ended up killing the last FT member after the timer ran out and he’s holding their skull in the victory cinematic.

I wouldn’t mind if we got something similar to Jason’s Rage ability for the Predator in the last five minutes of the match like a Super Target Isolation that always revealed the location of the FT even while mudded up. Forcing them to fight to the death by highlighting each side could work too. If you’re going to die, then go down fighting. Die with honor, don’t hide for the remainder of the match like a baby.

Please no, the game is already too run n’ gun and not enough of a hunt.

So you’re fine with waiting 10+ minutes because the last FT member is scared to come out or salty that you kicked their teammates’ asses? Remember, this is a game, and games need to be fun.

“Smart” Predators can abuse it and activate it on 2nd Wind somewhere in the forest. That is not logical. This must be FT win anyway

Go kill some AI. set off alarms and fight the endless waves for some worthy AI trophies. Pop Target Iso when you can to see if he turns up. There is still plenty of killing to do in the jungle while he cowers and cries.

Wait the AI waves are endless for Predator? No wonder I’ve almost died to some huge mobs of them over long claims on the last couple of FT members.

Wouldn’t that get boring after a while because of how easy it is to kill AI as the Predator?

I spose unless the devs clarify then its unknown.

I’d say a draw because neither the FT or the pred finished what they set out to do. FT failed the mission and pred failed the hunt.

huh i always thought this was a tie game

You could say the guy mudded up and walked miles out of the hunting ground and escaped. Any of these things can be flipped like that. This is why the devs should make it clear.

True you could say a lot of things, and come up with multiple scenarios for sure.

But we already know what actually happens. The match ends and everyone goes back to the game menu.

It is kind of like saying after a close football game, the teams stick around and just to see what could have happened if they played for another 15 minutes.

Maybe the other team wins, but that has zero affect on the official outcome of the match that ended 15 minutes ago.

Pretty sure it covers the win/lose conditions in the game extras menu, but I would not be surprised if the text there is also vauge. I will take a look when I get home if nobody else gets to it first.

If Dutch were playing by the current ruleset, then yes he lost in the movie.

But since he never got the mission to secure the Predator body, he technically did not as he did complete the primary mission and get to the Choppa.

Except the untold damage to the area.

If you kill the predator should be a win OR allow the team to try and finish the mission.

The giant crater would pose a slight problem.

So… my conclusion is, the daily challenges are not well made. I tried to complete the 10 wins as FT yesterday only playing online with random teams. It took a couple of hours because to be honest, most of the time the predator explodes, or he kills the whole team. Most people don’t even attempt to disarm the bomb anymore, so i was often the one that blown up.

The challenges sometime just feel waaay to situational and should be completable in 1 hour, not 4.

Edit: I made the last win for the challenge in private match.

Take the daily for today. 3 disarms. It can’t be completed as a team. So if you play with friends you have to take turns to complete it AND hope the predator does not just leave, does not detonate etc.

I fuckin HATE it when my bomb gets disarmed. Fuck that shit.

Okay I hope this is large enough to be legible.

Based on this text snipped directly from the game, I stand by my previous statements about what is a win/lose condition for a match.

To be fair, my statements are also based on end game screens and XP earned for various events.
