I’ve not been having problems with the dailies. The ten wins took me like 15 matches, and that includes the predator blowing up or us just dying. Disarming 3 bombs took me 5 matches, and only because one died at a distance, and the other because you can’t disarm the bomb if the pred keeps rolling down a hill.
The last time I had a real problem, was the net one, and the exfil/finish the missions ones.
Interesting but it doesn’t say a self destruct is a win. It also doesn’t say who wins in the event of the timer running out.
Do you agree that it spells out that the FT has exactly two win conditions?
I agree that is does not explicitly say that a self destruct is a Predator win (though the end screen seems to indicate that it is) it is certainly not a FT win condition and there is no mention of a draw/tie anywhere.
For the Predator I interpret those rules as also having exactly two win conditions.
If the FT are all alive at the end of the match and have none have escaped in the chopper, Predator gets the Fire Team Eliminated end screen. The same screen as if he has killed them all. That would indicate to me to be a win condition.
So the answer the story question about “what happens after the match ends and there are still FT on the ground” is that the Predator kills them after the chopper has left.
So in a nut shell, if even one out of four FT gets a win condition, it is a loss for the Predator.
Like you just said. Your interpretation. And that’s perfectly reasonable but so is my own interpretation unless the devs add to those explanations.
Like it doesn’t say who wins if the clock runs out. That’s why to me it feels like a draw. Everyone lost.
That fireteam eliminated cutscene does appear but I’d bet that’s because they just didn’t bother making another one. I say that because there’s no variety in the cutscenes at all. The devs didn’t bother making enough to keep it interesting. Hold a skull up and roar. Look at a big crater and a helicopter.
Don’t see why any pred player wants a win by default when the time runs out. Where’s the honor?

Been ages so not sure. Probably the holding up the skull. Could be an AI skull though :)
I can say for sure, with one FT alive at the end, Predator gets the skull and Fire Team Eliminated message (no chopper called).
Its a tie if predator bomb goes off and 1 ft survives… really depends… if predator kills 3 ft members and another and you reinforce… i think pred won

Actually the win condition for Predator says every FT who escapes is a dishonor, not that they must kill every FT.
Honestly if time runs out a predator kills at least 2 it shows his cut screen if time runs out. If helo gets called and nobody takes it… it says prey escaped
Again, if the Pred successfully detonated his wrist computer, it does not count as a win for the challenge, no matter how many of you survive…

Killing none also gives Prey Escaped if chopper is called and nobody even escapes on it.

True. For challenges… thing is a clear win is a wipe for predator or ft gets to helo or kills predator… challenges aside if pred kills at least 3 ft members and renforce… and they escape its a tie… due to everyone complaining about fast games. What i see as a ft player and predator is
Ft dont use knives when they should
Ft run to many squshies recon scout
Ft are to spread or to close
Preds get caught trying to kill a suppt with heavy hitting and take 2k dmg
Preds only trying to combi and not throwing. Elder is far better for 1 v 1s
Preds trying to do wrist blade 3rd strike. Just 2 and jump out
Preds not trapping
Preds on second wind healing to close
Preds eating boars 200m from ft
Preds slamming at nothing and getting lit
Preds not using plasma caster
Technically preds just not observing
Just yelling and trees
And no audio either with the yelling dude.
Looks like the game does not play by its own rules.
Yup as ft never completed mission equals loss.
So in essence, none of us are 100% right or 100% wrong and I do not even think the game itself knows what is happening a large portion of the time.
