Predator self destruct devices are highly common. Every hunt they have them to keep the secrecy of their race if they were to fail in their hunt and are incapacitated. The fugitive did not have one because it was there to give tech, not hunt. It was on the run from the mega predators and probably even others of its own kind because it had broken some of its kinds’ most sacred laws in which was exposing their existence to humans as well as their tech. Another thing I find interesting was the Fugitive was the first female predator you see on the big screen, and yes it has been confirmed that pred was female.

Well, theres no way to know for sure if he had a self destruct. Given that all the other ones bring one just in case, I’m operating under the assumption that its standard gear. Also, it was not confirmed to be female. In fact, I read an article quoting Shane Black (who stinks.) that said Fugitive wasn’t female and neither was Assassin. Im happy with the female Preds we have here anyway.

Agreed. The only thing that concerns me there is design. Im happy with these females, but there’s a totally different group that wants the females to be just like the Assassin and not, ya know, female. To me, thats just lazy writing, making them male, but bigger. Theyre not insectoids, or like the xenomorphs in Aliens. Theyre humanoid. I think the way illfonic has done it here is the best way because you have the females and all the artists, gamers, cosplayers etc that design theirs this way are satisfied. Everyone wins.

Hmm, well, she still has one of the most unique armors in the Predator Universe considering a lot share some similarity to each other with slight variations

Making things the same, but slightly taller is clearly lazier. And I said nothing about a bow. Lady preds can/should carry whatever armaments they want. The males have dick armor to cover up their sensitives.

Not all female predators were. They came in all shapes and sizes just like humans. Shorty was a male predator that was shorter than his fellow Yautja. And actually they did. Several of the comics had portrayed them with breasts. Sister Midnight being one who was slender, yet muscular and had breasts. So, before stating something incorrect actually look it up.

Ok, let’s all calm down. This is getting a little silly. Im aware that the novels portray the females one way. I dont care for it at all. Never have. Never will. I’ve enjoyed exactly ZERO novels. I consider it lazy writing. The comics suffer a great deal too and I own them all.
Furthermore, this game (I cant believe I’m typing this) is canon now, according to a press release before the launch. So females look like this. Not like the novels. Just like I was unhappy about the entire Star Wars EU being tossed out when Lucasfilm was sold, I’m sure there are fans of she-hulk Preds that are disappointed too, but thats life.
Predators are humanoid. I feel they should share some characteristics. Apparently, the writers and devs here do as well. There are female berserkers. Full on brutes. That should be enough to satisfy almost everyone who wants that stuff. There are skinny scouts too, to satisfy the other side of the discussion.
I also would love to see the next predator film feature a female. Boob armor and all. Let her carry the club and be a zerker if it makes people happy. As long as its good. I think she-hulk preds are not good. My mind won’t change on that, just like it wouldn’t if someone said, “hey, here’s a Xenomorph with a dick!”, I would say that’s dumb too, since nearly all Xenomorphs are female. Pretty sure only the face huggers are male. Lets leave them alone too.
I like these females, I like the Aliens the way they are, I like Han shooting first.
