Been lurking here for awhile and finally made an account, howdy y’all. So I’ve owned the game since release but have been a Pred main this whole time, only recently did I try FT after watching Samhain’s vids. I’ve copied his Assault build, and recently been trying Isabelle (I beef up her health, yes I use her sniper, no I won’t use the SAWZ, I hate the reload delay). My problem is, I play with randoms and jfc the amount of potatoes and incompetent players is ridiculous. I feel I’m the only one that can hear where the Pred is at and can see him when he’s right in front of us. So I ask the gods at this game, is there a particular build for console that I can use that is good with randoms that can defend myself against the Pred but also melt his health? A one-man show, essentially? Pro build or meme, I don’t care (I do love trolling sweaty Preds), any advice would be helpful. Also, any stick settings you’d recommend? I have them somewhat up high but not enough to get sick from. Thank y’all in advance ❤️

Worry about keeping yourself safe, when pred comes down to hack away or claim, unload into him and you’ll likely sw him.
Perfect. Run 2025, Thick skin. You’ll have 185 health. Use Deadly specialization and the hammerhead. You’ll be dishing it out, and an absolute unit. Also you can run OWLF to be even more insanely tank.
Is AK better than Hammerhead? I use HH on my Assault, and most PC players like Sam have been using it. The Pred also downs me incredibly fast if he’s on my ass, like sometimes is ridiculous (Elder Stalkers like to spam too, but that’s expected).
Is 2025 better than 87? Or is there no real difference?
They are slightly different. 87 just has more damage cause his hip fire plus Bane. But 2025 is more tank and gets the deadly specialization. Which is really really good. Also hammerhead is more reliable. AK has the highest close range damage in the game, but it’s very rare they get that close and if they do they are probably dead anyways
Ok. Yeah, most of the time I engage the Pred at a moderate distance, when he comes down to claim or run around us. Only when I’m being charged is he up in my face, but even then yeah if they’re that close they’re getting melted. Awesome, thank you, I’ll do some 2025 runs tonight and see how that goes. What perks would you suggest, aside from Thick Skin?
OWLF. There’s just nothing better than more health and taking less damage. Makes you an absolute menace. Get used to his playstyle Then me and my buddy will run one with you using field medics and you’ll see how fackin dumb this game really is lol
Oh man, I know this game is whacked. It’s ridiculous sometimes. But even with field medics my team gets wasted usually, which honestly I chalk up to them not knowing how to play it properly.

You will keep a constant stream of dps on the Predator this way. Forget OWLF training and thick skin. They’re garbage. Being able to reload the hammerhead faster is a must and faster swapping between the two guns AND the underbarrel is also good. Bane is pretty much a given.
I like to carry ammo bags because you just go through so much ammo it’s ridiculous. Acig is my preference for the throwable, but grenade is good too.
Do not put a suppressor on the hammerhead. It’s your main weapon against the Pred. It needs to have maximum damage. You can opt for one on the smg (or the 1911, as that’s also a good secondary), to kill AI and what not.
No build in this game is going to keep you from dying, unless it gives you wings or turns you invisible. It’s all about how good you are with what you’ve got. Good luck.

That’s where the AK comes in, it does the highest close ranged damage paired with hip fire damage, and banes damage. So up close you’re basically a glass cannon until you can learn how to maneuver around the preds melee tracking and parry well.
The hammerhead is great, but the optimal choice depends on your playstyle. Close range-ak. Long range, goslr. All around balanced with a noob tube- hammerhead.
