With Elden Ring’s released gameplay trailer anyone else been heavily revisiting the souls-like genre?
I’ve found a huge taste for Zelda:BOTW, BB, and DS3 lately

Bloodborne sucks, always has, ds 3 was a disappointment.
Ds1, ds2 where its at.
And no, with ds3 being such a key down lord knows what they might fuck up with elden ring.

Being forced to only one play style when ds always allowed multiple is a sin on it’s own.

I haven’t played any of the souls games
The PS5 remake looks like a lot of fun
I like ninja gaiden myself
BOTW has empthesis on dodging and parring, particularly with bosses
Just like dark souls
BB is literally faster dark souls
Disappointing but still good

There are multiple playstyles for BB
Items replace spells
Bloodtinge for range
And typically skill and strength builds
Both Zelda and Souls are trying to be Ninja Gaiden
And failing

Mega-mans early design philosophy was if the devs couldn’t no-hit a boss scrap it
