I think he would have a good shot with the gun. I’m not sure how much ammo he had left, but he definitely had rpg rounds, at least three (though a direct bow shot with tipped rpg round didn’t do sheet, lol). But you remember how many rounds dutch squeezed out an Blain’s death scene. That may have been enough.
He had an explosive spear made from the grenade capsules and he also had his knife tied on to a spear.

Exactly. The editing and attention to detail was very good in keeping continuity, and making sure Dutch had literally no other option than to engage in guerilla warfare on the Pred.

That’s the funny thing though, their vision is shown to be the absolute worse version of thermal imaging possible and yet he can see where Dutch is going without tripping over anything and even spot the spike traps when he has him cornered.
Good point. So many details. I guess he could have taken Mac’s or Dillon’s weapons as he knew the direction they went in. I’m sure he’d have found them from tracking their footprints.
He’d also run the risk of getting spotted by going to JH’s hunting spot had he gone back.
Its a possibility. The dont show if JH was doing anything before the hobby by the fire.
They do, he had gone back to retrieve their skulls as he did for Blaine.

He was too busy running in the opposite direction to take anybodies weapons , realistically he probably would have lost a rifle going down the waterfalls

Agreed, still it seems like Dutch was tracking him to somr extent as he found the preds spot and even set the trap nearby (seems unlikely that setting up.thectrap would not be noticed)

He wasn’t tracking him , isnt that why he screams and sets the fire? To draw him in? He knew he would be somewhere in the vicinity.

Not if ot was over his body/shoulder. Maybe he did run in some direction. How would he know where’s safe tho. He probably did try to stalk JH for a bit to see what he was up to
