Nihilism as originally intended is meant to be about finding your own reason for living, it was intended to teach people to always follow their dreams & never give up hope: that no matter how much of a struggle life can be, no matter how meaningless it can all seem because of death being inevitable: that it is the struggle that gives us meaning, gives us purpose. The human desire to live & fight, to improve in both body & mind. That’s what it was all about.
But then a bunch of kids started corrupting its message and took it as to mean that because death is inevitable, because eventually everything, even the sun, will one day fade away that they have no reason to go on, to do anything. They use it as an excuse to give up & do nothing. The complete opposite of what it originally meant.

Even if life has no meaning, there is still quality and enjoyment to life. Isn’t it more enjoyable to struggle and enjoy certain comfort that it brings than to exist on basic necessities controlled by instinct?
