Stop crying about the axe already.
Game experience, fast decision making, strategy, positioning knowledge all can help one in a match besides their aim yeah.
Even getting consecutive sawz shots takes more skill than the axe despite the hitscan, like how using the knife as ft is also braindead and for people that can’t aim.

Snipe shots with the bow maybe, but not bow hopping.
I love how pc players think aiming is such a huge display of skill.
It might be cause when I used to play seriously, fps and aiming was the easiest shit to do.
But it really isnt that hard with a little practice.
And yet there are so few predator player even on pc that are actually something that I would consider good with the bow. Using the bow is easy… says the people that can’t get good at it.

Bow hopping still takes more skill and is more respectable than jumping in with the battle axe. There’s nothing else for me to say about that.

You mean like just shooting one arrow and leaping after each shot ? How about consecutive arrows shots ? Specially vs a full squad even one miss can mean death.

So let’s break it down to one scenario ok.
Let’s take a team that knows what they’re doing.
What’s more impressive,
A pred bunny hopping with the bow,
Or wiping them with pure melee?
Cause a wipe with bunny hopping I can see happening no problem, it’s not that hard with some practice.
You’re being mobile, so not an easy target.
Meanwhile you have melee that leaves you wide the fuck open.
So you’re telling me, given how quickly a pred can get melted because of the melee system,
That a full melee wipe isnt impressive in the slightest against a team that knows what they’re doing?
Because if you say it isnt, then you’re just being biased and stubborn.

You are not getting a full wipe vs a good team with melee only. With the Axe is just about getting luck with the tracking to maybe get 1 kill in the process, you might die most of the time, with the bow it depends on the aim, which is skill based.

If a predator is able to wipe out a top tier team with just melee then yes, I would be impressed. However it is pretty much impossible to even get close to a good team with just a melee weapon. I learned the hard way when I used to have the katana as my main weapon. The reapers annihilated me every single time I tried to use the katana against them.

Okay, but you do realize that pretty much the entire population of the game save for a select few are exactly as you describe. The same, the same in being garbage. Of course, this is a very simple answer that is riffled with complex factors such as player retention, in-game resources to understand said game (lack of) and of course, the player’s ability to utilize said knowledge of the game in general.However, I am of the opinion that if the player base as a whole knew more than what is given out in-game, the skill cap would rise almost immediately.
Agreed on the Sniper thing for the same reason as Charged Bow shots but even then the Sawz has great damage anyway (maybe a little too much but it’s kinda okay? Conflicted.)

At that point youre just matching ft, playing ranged, which I get it, cause how broken ft damage is.
