Honestly I feel pred should be able to one shot ft.
But lower his health by 25%, and make this game way more stealth focused.
So you really have to play tactically, plan out your moves, on both sides.

While current ft dps calls for it, back then it just showed pure fear. The play style is one from fear, not so much skill.

Back in the day, I was slaughtering fireteams with just the bow. Then Illfonic buffed the fireteamâs damage and I couldnât bully fireteams the same way anymore. If anything, bow hopping was due to the complete opposite of fear, because the fireteamâs damage wasnât that high back then.

Just because a weapon, such as the Axe, isnât an automatic win against a premade team using meta loadouts, does not rule out that it could still be overpowered in comparison to other weapon options.
If this was a balanced game I would agree.
But itâs not.
So that doesnt really apply since, its matching ft dps.
Ft health should be treated completely as a whole.
Meaning the health of all 4 ppl= 1 health pool.
Meaning, that the axe does the same damage as a sawz.
If ft dps wasnt were itâs at, I would reconsider.
Gotta balance things out somehow.

Because nobody was good enough to deal with it so they instead whined and bitched about it. I experienced that for a fact by myself. Itâs stupid really, because I got more salty players come on the mic to me for using Bow and Plasma Pistol, than when I used to use Combistick and Netgun on Berserker. Again, this is probably because all people who were considered good back then could do, was parry, and do Jack and shit else. Especially not aim with a Sniper. I know many Voodoo Boys especially and even Rangers who fall into that category.
The logic doesnât make any sense and it never has. Especially because by your logic, Bloodthirstylord is more skilled than Samhain because he charges Bow shotsđ¤Ł
Also, if a Predator decides to rush a premade with melee then they are plain and simply stupid. If the premade still loses to the melee Pred, whether they were using Axe, War Club it doesnât matter, they arenât a capable team.
I used to keep a melee weapon on one Predator class like the Sickle so that if I ran into average PS premades that include people like Old Gregg or Splurge then they could have a chance because Iâm exposing myself up close and with the chance of getting parried and grenaded by 3 people at once. Now I donât even bother because people just run Dantes and Dutch 87 with combinations of Yautjas Bane, heavy hitter, thick skin, gearhead etc and refuse to die while using cheap, no skill methods to kill you. All Predator weapons are projectile anyway so they take more skill than mashing a knife or hitscan Fireteam weapons. Another point that I think you or someone else made was that apparently charging bow shots is more skillful. Well for one thing, the charged shots are more accurate than the normal ones as they have little to no drop off of altitude at range, meanwhile the uncharged shots do less damage and are less accurate, so it is only common sense that using normal consecutive shots takes more skill and expertise.
What a Predator can do to impress me, is have good aim, put up a fight, and make me feel like Iâm being Hunted again. Actually Hunt me ruthlessly, and kill great players. Hunt like the original Predator, smart, intelligent, and Deadly.

As for the charged shots, yeah, if you can land them, while remaining undetected, and win a match like that, getting spotted like maybe once, then thatâs way more impressive than jumping around like a bitch.
Dont get me wrong, I understand why pred plays that way, especially with how broken ft dps is after illfonic added specializations.
Before specializations you could have good matches that were fun. Not really on ft cause ft was boring,
But definitely on pred.
Now, thatâs not the case. Yeah sure, if you no life the game and play like a bitch you can beat good fts.
But itâs not fun. I dont mind a challange, but I dont enjoy playing with the odds completely stacked against me.

Pred cant even effectively use half his kit to itâs full full extent. Its ridiculous that pred cant even use a full combo with out getting melted.

I donât use red dot on sniper. Tried it a few times and itâs easy asf so I ended up landing continuous 4 pieces and 5, pieces. I use 6X scope and 10X scope now.
