Before you write like that, turn on your brain and understand why this forum was created. If you do not understand, then I will try to explain to you: this forum was created in order to improve this game based on the feedback and preferences of the players for this game. And when people say about the banks and shortcomings of the game and even more so offer gameplay improvements, all this helps developers to make this game better.

Those games are completely different to PHG, so competition isn’t existent in terms of that.
If you wanted to compare Cyberpunk to Watch Dogs Legion, you’d have a valid point.
However a delay would have been very good for this game, be it a few months to even a year, it would have launched in a far better state and would have probably had more content.
Competition is a factor because not everyone will have the money to buy both games. That’s what I’m getting at. Sales would drop because people will prioritise one game over the other. Just because the games aren’t similar doesn’t mean they don’t impact each other’s sales. If two games come out at once, no matter how different they are you’re going to have people who would buy both but choose one over the other.
An example, I chose to buy this game over Borderlands 3 (which is on sale on steam) or Final Fantasy 7 remake. All three are vastly different games but I chose to get this one for one reason or another. Same thing but on a wider scale for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last Of Us 2.
Especially the circumstances money is going to be tight for a lot of people. You might have the money to splash out on every game that drops but not everyone does.

Why should we give them time? Why would they release the game if it wasnt ready? I played the beta, pretty much the exact same issues as the beta in the full release. Why do people defend game companies like this? Imagine you bought a new car, you got the car and the engine only worked a few times out of the day. Would you say, StOp cRYing tHeYll fIX iT dOWn tHe LiNE! No you would be pissed for wasting money. Stop defending these fucking companies that release half assed games with shit that was told would be in the game that just straight up isnt.

No but that’s the thing with product sales, you may not intend to compete with something but you end up doing so because of the situation your customer base are in. Even something not in your industry can impact the success of your product.
I am not trying to defend them here but if you expected a game like this to come out with ZERO problems and it being completely balanced then you have never played a game before. No game has ever come out that didnt have problems at the start. I will say though that this matchmaking problem should have been fixed within hours of launch and should not have been a problem in the first place. I agree with everyone there but the people that are complaining about balancing are dumb. I am not saying the game is balanced im just saying you should not have bought the game if you expected perfect balance on day 1. Honestly they probably wont even start looking at balance for a bit because all they have to go on is people crying in the forums that for all they know could be a lvl 1 predator going up against a lvl 50+ fireteam or vice versa. Just give it time guys. Lets be patient and see what its like in a week and remember not to buy games if you expect them to be perfect on launch. Will never happen. :)

Yes and no. Multiplayer games do indeed suffer from problems a lot more because a lot more can go wrong but singleplayer games do suffer from problems as well but most of them are gameplay issues that people can often overlook. I was mostly referring to Multiplayer games though you are correct
Hmm people spent their hard earned money on this medicore game. Granted I’m trying to be understanding due to the covid bs. But these guys had a trial verson a month ago. I’m sorry that’s no excuse for this issue that has happened to their previous release. You think they double down and make sure the servers would at least be better than last time. Dispite all the bugs this game has. And maybe better transparency every other hour be nice to instead of leaving a message since friday. I’m tired of the bullshit the studio pulls releasing half baked games. And we’re supposed to give them our money and be okay with that. Fuck that. They had time and boasted they we’re ready for launch and look what happen… I’ll tell you this if they don’t resolve this I guarantee you they wont be making another game. I payed $60 to play this game not a waiting game. You don’t go buy car then find out it’s not fully drivable and needs more repairs come on dude. This is not crying. This is being told that the full release would be different than the trial guess out. There’s not much of a difference is there. I like this game but they need to fix this mess or let us know when it’ll be playable rather than staying silent.

Doom Eternal battle mode didn’t have this problem. Cod is free this weekend severs are running smoother even on a bigger scale than this game. And just finished a gundam vs beta that nobody knows about lol has better Servers right now etc etc. I’m not hearing excuses for this mess. Fix it!!! and take the criticism cause they need to know. This type of stuff is what killed anthem and other games before it.
