I understood what you meant perfectly fine. You’re comparing apples to oranges. Given that the Predator is tracking down the fire team it makes sense he is given a few different tools to do the job, all of which have a hard counter. Unless your idea of balance is to give everyone the exact same weapon and tools this suggestion doesn’t make any sense.
TARGET ISOLATION NEEDS GONE ASAP
Two things;

Predators don’t have normal vision. They are supposed to only have heat and others provided by the mask.

Without knowing where the fire-team is headed the Predator is playing a huge game of catch up. Early in the trials it was not uncommon to see Predators spending 5+ minutes in a 15 minute round just trying to find the enemy.
Remember you are playing a Predator with a huge established lore. They use super advanced tech, the only ones who have died to a human are really young/in-experienced hunters, and use all this tech to gain an advantage to hunt their prey unless their clan master dictates separate rules for a trial or some-such. Please keep adding ideas though as that is the only way this game will get better than it’s current state.

Absolutely agree 100% you deffo are a true hunter to feel its cheap fair play for your honesty but shame theres many predators out there like the few in this topic that clearly wants to be spoon feed the BIG PINK SPOT because they aint hunters just embarrassments to the real hunters lol happy hunting.

The game needs more ingame time and ft more optional things to do but with more ingame time and no target isolation the true predators will feel more rewarded with there hunt/stalk/observing and waiting for the right moment because right now how the games designed its just an online rush mess.

What you on about today i’ve been running tests to see how easy it is to smash matches i’ve smashed 9/10 teams using that target isolation crap to demonstrate how stupidly easy it is, so dont tell me about competent teams because even few good teams got whacked by it. I feel shamed trying it but had to run tests its ridiculously shocking how unbalanced it makes matches dreadful.
I’ve noticed many fire teams players today also quit in match but i hardly blame them doing so i see why now.
Something has to be done.
I feel like you’re confusing target isolation with combat knives. Target isolation only gives the Predator a general idea of where each FT member is. But when he does find them, they whip out their knives and kill him.

One thing i’ve learnt since being a switched to predator is how badly easy it is finding fire team, last week i respected few predators with there performances on hunting its prey this week i discover is all down to a one button push to activate a “target isolation” literally as soon as the match has started ffs lol talk about discredit. so yeah not such thing as a predator game, more like the game should be called “PRE DA POINT LOCATING GROUNDS”
