Exactly illfonic have done ok with most things in the game so far with balance except the target isolation its the most crucial due to its helping destroying peoples ingame experience straight from the start of match. So yeah its a major problem in this game that suppose to have balance and people are boycotting the game because of the issue so that is also very bad for everyone because in the long run will effect our lobbies! No players no matches, simple.
TARGET ISOLATION NEEDS GONE ASAP
Its the same counter. Mud stops the scan more than it stops thermal vision. Anyone with a good eye can see the mudded fireteam in thermal, but the scan? Only tells you where the bad players are. And you stomp those regardless of the scan.

dude you spawn to the opposite side from the predator right. u literally just need to do is open ure map and then go to the opposite side from u. do you maps should be taken out to then 🤔. also speed running in this game is deadly as hell, target isolation is the only thing countering that. i would only agree to this if they make objectives longer and disable respawn

The thing that will kill with game is people like you. Instead of learning to play the game, you cry about how unfair a balanced mechanic is. You mud up when you land, countering the scan. Any predator who knows the map can find the fireteam with or without the scan in the same amount of time. If you use the scan as soon as you can and a fireteam pops up, you are up against someone who is new, or just bad. Usually, it doesn’t show you, and you find them anyway, because there is only so many locations they can head to. Just learn to play.
TLDR; If Illfonic listens to people like OP, the game will die. OP is using zero facts, someone kill this thread.
Actually you are wrong, I’m a lvl 100 Pred main. I’ve used target isolation a handful of times, and it was to find boar. Since actually learning how to hunt as the Predator, I now carry motion detectors, at the start of the match I hit as many of the objective sites and discreetly place them, when they ping I run to them. Target isolation is not going to go away, the FTs are supposed to be cognizant of their body temp. You should be mudding up like every minute or two. And covering each other while you do it. Then target isolation doesn’t work. Not the developers fault that you forget to counter a simple game mechanic.
Also the fireteam spawns on the exact opposite side of the map, as the Pred all you have to do is run to the opposite side and boom there they are. Besides all the gunfire is pretty noticeable. SMH.
to the op, you do realize its there cause it was in the movies and is one of the predators primary targeting systems??? If you want to get rid of something really op how about getting rid of the fireteam 3 second heal times vs the preadator 30 second heal times…
Who you kidding in the movies lol what movie has an honorable predator had to have an pin pointer to tell him that hes prey is sitting right around the corner, if thats the case he would have found dutch hiding under the bridge in the last quarter of the 87 movie, thats what this games based on right?
Fact is many people are aware of this issue of target isolation and for this the lobbies are being affected, funny you keep coming back to my thread with a different comment why is it because the main aspect of unbalance has been exposed, truth is people are noticing this issue and you sit there saying you only use it for boar lol who you kidding if target isolation was not to spoon feed predator players fire team location on these small maps then illfonic would have setted it only for boar, its slowly and eventually will destroy more and more peoples experience and wasting their hard earned cash, thats the bottom line.
If you were gonna remove the isolation vision, then I’d say remove the reinforcements too so it’s more even. Pretty annoying wiping out 3/4 players and one ran off earlier across the map to call reinforcements while you’re looking for boars to consume, then when you can’t find any you have to take out the whole team again with hardly any health. Kinda sucks. Only happened a couple or so times but it’s fairly annoying

Yes absolutely agree this would be a fair change im a predator main and that would be an very well balanced change also by removing reinforcements with target isolation also removed that would make the game worth playing and more exciting for everyone due to being more careful and less careless which stop people rushing ingame for both parties.

You keep coming back to my thread which also indicates your scared that if illfonic makes these changes to make the game balanced for their customers it’ll affect you on easily finding the fire team ingame within 2 minutes of game time which also indicates that you only care of an broken and unbalanced game that only benefits you having it easy as predator finding fire team before fire team even gets chance to mud up and no interest the game itself. I think illfonic should worry right now about this major issue because people are turning to more fair and balanced games and asking for refunds.

I play predator mainly and occasionally fire team but we gamers paid for an balanced game not an broken game im just pointing out an unbalanced issue its as simple as that an issue that also has had people refund there monies back from the game, im waiting for the next update before i also decide unistalling it myself gamers/customers deserve to play a game for more than 240 seconds ingame time before it actually coming to an end all because of a machanic called target isolation that spoon feeds predator players fire team location in seconds of game time. Im a predator most of the time but this predator target isolation has killed the game. I hope illfonic understands there gamers on what is expected in an online fun and lasting game because this is already dieing. SHAME
