they could add some kind of triangulation mechanic, or have semi persistent sound bubbles or waves to show you where they were. i agree pressing a button and seeing their position is about the laziest mechanic you could develop but ive spent enough games leaping around looking for that last guy hiding somewhere, even then he was mudded so the function was useless.
TARGET ISOLATION NEEDS GONE ASAP
Sound bubbles are legit in the game. If you are in thermal and looking roughly in their direction and they speak/shoot you can see an audio bubble.
Yeah you do get many guys jump in thinking there dutch with the attitude of thinking when your down theyâve got it all under control to then seeing their skulls ripped out whilst trying to crawl silently away before your times up Lol
Sounds bubbles are absolutely fine this is natural to the predator but that target isolation is dreadful.
It also has a long cooldown. And often pred has to use it to find hogs in order to heal.
Without isolation the FT would just speedrun through the whole thing unless pred knew the map by heart.

Funny thing was one of the guys called me toxic because i questioned why he didnât even attempt to pick me up when iâm right next to him and the pred had already ran away -_-

Let me tell you something really shocking as a predator player, âi dont use target isolationâ i know shocking ay and iâve also mention that before you even comment and yeah it does effect the game massively as a predator player i know this on my first and last day i used this ridiculous tracking isolation against a team soon as i spawned in they were slaughtered after i received there location took me 4 minutes so dont sit there on yah high horse with yah sarcy comment because what that tells me is iâve hit your nerve which indicates you deffinetly rely on traget isolation which then tells me what a shit predator you are oh âGaspâ.
Not sure how me commenting on your whining over a feature that is all up to you yourself if you want to use it or not is hitting my nerves.
If anything itâs your nerves that has been hit with a sledgehammer over something that is completely up to you to use or not.
Itâs a feature, not a requirement. So if people choose to use it or not if completely up to them. So I donât see why itâs something that has to be removed.
Quit your whining and just enjoy the game the way you like it and donât think of how others play it.

This is why illfonic should remove the target isolation and give ft more ingame missions with more ingame time and predator ingame optional objectives also.
quite nearly everything in this game should / could have been done in a better/more immersive way. we got what we got.

The worst thing Illfonic has done? Something that has like a two minute timer on it, countered easily by regular mudding, and is primarily now used to locate boars? Something which can also be accomplished slightly more easily with visual audio cues while in thermal vision?
Hereâs a thought, how about the infinite melee parry? Nigh infinite health items for Fire teams with medical stations littered everywhere pre patch? Stamina regen glitch? Leap slam glitching through walls? Almost unstoppable reinforcements forcing Predators to kill Fireteams twice because even with the TI it could be extremely difficult to find the last member to get on them before they could stop it? Just a couple suggestions for worthy candidates of the âworstâ thing they had done.

This is coming from a Predator that almost never uses the damn thing. Because itâs not all that great once you get familiar with the maps.
When i was fire team i died more times trying to help someone that was shot down lol but rather pick up a falling team member and risk myself than play the rambo act lol

Look bro it took me like 3 or 4 matches to even realize there was target isolation. So ya, you could possibly make it work without it. I know I did, I still found and killed ppl. But taking that away wouldnât really fix or change anything.

Yes the ft needs longer missions. More complex missions too. But isolation doesnât need to go. At most only a few preds will suffer cause of its removal. But most will adapt. Except for bob. But bob cant do shit even if everything is handed to him. Thatâs why his clan sent him to earth. They wanted him to get killed cause heâs fucking useless.

I have many predator mains i have on my friends list that also agrees as predators players themselves that tracking isolation is a joke and needs to go so just that % alone tells me there are many many people out there that think illfonic messed up with that spoon feeder.
