Okay makes sense. I agree and cannot think of a way to really be stealthy about that. Thank you for clarifying!
Stealth is viable in many other situations though I think.

My summery would be.
1.Predator to have only thermal vision for the fire team/Ai.
2.Predator to only have target isolation only for boar.
1.Fire team to have only mud to counter predators thermal vision.
More ingame time and missions for fire team and objectives for the predator.
GAME BALANCED GAME SAVED.
The Endā¦
If the Predator loses isolation it needs more tracking options. It will be absolutely no fun for Predator if the whole match is roaming the jungle mindlessly to find the FT. Even if you have a general idea of where they are at.
The isolation argument is much like the trapper hate that Evolve had. It was āunfairā Maggie (a hunting ādogā) would always go straight for the monster (most of the time). It was "unfair" that Abe could tag the monster and animals with a tracking dart and then track a marker through the world leading to an endless run for the monster. It was unfair was Crow was added and you could send a friggen bird out on any good LoS path and practically find the monster.
But all of these things kept the pace of the game up because if you didnāt and the monster didnāt rush the game then you had this endless stalemate of the monster creeping around until the final minutes of the game. It makes the game a chore if you had a crappy trapper and you spent ages following footsteps and random noises.
If its felt isolation is an āeasyā button then invent new ways to implement tracking into the game. Otherwise isolation needs to stay if only for sake of preventing things from be a chore.
I legit answered to your question several times.
Your question is: Why should a FT that DOESNT have mud, be attacked by AI and Predators?
Answer: Because you failed to counter Predators vision.
As Iāve already said, if you really hate TI then use mud, period. You cant complain about something that has a legit and viable counterplay, thatās just favoritism.
Oh my god you still havent answered have you ffs your so dumb, just dont bother lol ffs
I agree with you, thats why a lot of the recent replies to this post (probably the last 100 or so) have been more or less brainstorming ideas for different methods of track, something that may take a little to master but be rewarding when done right, I feel like the Preds would be more satisfied with this kind of hunting.
Thats just my perspective though, I am a FT main so this is why I would encourage any pred mains to give their opinion on it as well, say what you might like to see in place of target iso that might make you more engaged :)
As a Predator main, I would much rather have longer match times to hunt and stalk than have the isolation scan. It would help with the immersion factor not feeling rushed as both the Fireteam and Predator.
How about thisā¦Remove Isolation Scan and Fireteam Spotting while making matches at least 5 minutes longer. I think itās an even trade.
A heartbeat sensor with decent range, or make the sound bar function properly, that way when you slowly pan while looking, it would spike hard when you hear detectable sound. That way it may just be an AI making noise, or the fireteam huffing and puffing while sprinting, or talking on the objective. But barring those, target iso will stay to support lower skilled preds.
Iāve only played as Pred and Iām currently level 36. Havenāt used Target Isolation once. I never bothered to learn the hotkey for KB, so if that tells you something. Iāve lost maybe 3 matches to good FT when I got too greedy and went in to melee a team.
Mate youāve absolutely nailed it that is what its all about 100% itāll be an absolute game changer in the aspect of lasting fun. Fantastic shout
Thing is buddy i dont believe you lol not one little bit lol never used it once haha but good try.
Whilst on the subject you saying low skilled predators needs target isolation in these small maps weāve just had a lvl 36 low skilled predator just jump in thread saying he doesnt need target isolation because hes never used it lol so.
I donāt care what you believe. I just assumed ātarget isolation modeā was just a different name for thermal vision. All the other AVP games Iāve played didnāt complicate things more than a toggle for different vision modes. Before reading your gripes on this thread I didnāt know it was a thing. You can bet thereās preds out there as dumb as me who arenāt using it either. Just like thereās FT players not mudding up, or using those weird heat bomb things that take up the whole screen.
Puts hand up
Yep, I played Pred about 10 rounds before I realised it was a button prompt, not a label. First couple I didnāt even see it.
I still believe that target isolation should be an improved ability, not removed. Basically an extended version of thermal vision that, for a short time, detects life and sound at range with added detail. You can see people and animals walking and running around, hear the noises they make, etc
This would work better with wandering patrols and such, making it more difficult to pinpoint the FT.
Target Isolation should be reworked. Make it sound based, so you it only flags the fireteam if they are sprinting or firing their weapons. That way Fireteam canāt rush the objectives without getting spotted even with mud. And the predator canāt rush the fireteam spawn anymore.
Thats a good idea makes sense, good shout, i watched it on youtube a fire team were taken cover in black water in the huts under pressure from Ai and the predator player sat on top of them using thermal vision and couldnt even see them but then whacked target isolation on then boom it spoon feed him they were right under him, what a cheap shit reck of a mechanic lol embarrassing.
You say it took you 10 matches to realise target isolation yeah fair point but ROARGATHOR at lvl 36 says hes never used target isolation NOT ONCE at lvl 36 lol and you buy that shit lol brilliant haha
Nah not really itās bigger than u might think
Itās pretty helpful when the FT is Just camping or hiding somewhere
