Yeah I should also toss my change in here; Target Isolation’s a needed feature. It doesn’t just slap their Location on the map; it gives Preds a hint on where they’re going, and can be easily fooled as, if one heads that direction, by the time they reach the area, the FT can be mudded up and somewhere else entirely. Plus, as someone else pointed out, its lengthy cooldown means, by the time it’s used again, the FT could be on the other side of the map already. So, it’s far from spoon feeding. It just gives Preds an idea on where the FT is so they don’t wander around aimlessly and, for experienced Preds, where they’re heading to.
Removing it, and having it where they need to use sight and sound only, works in theory, but it becomes very cumbersome for new Pred players, which can easily discourage them from playing because it’s too tedious. Not to mention, FT can easily just stay mudded and run silenced guns, which will further reduce their chances of being found.
Can Target Isolation be tweaked? Of course; I see a few ways it could be tweaked better, but removed in its entirety can create problems for both sides.
