honestly if the fireteam is getting slaughtered in the first engagement then GIT GUD & MUD UP. Isolation has a counter and a cooldown lmoa. This sounds like less of a preds getting there hand held and moreyou want FTs hand held even more than it already is

This entire thread is dumb and pointless and has wasted the time of everyone who’s responded to it myself included. If you don’t like it don’t use it simple as that. The game doesn’t constantly tell you to use it in a match so it’s not spoon feeding in any way. It’s a tool like the wrist blades or plasma caster, or thermal, you are not required to use them to win.

Because a competent Beserker can face all 4 fire team members plowing bullets into it constantly as it advances towards them and still melee them down one by one. It’s ridiculous, and those saying it isn’t probably use Beserker as their way to feel good with the easy wins.

I find this funny cause when we all played together the zerk rush never worked on us xD.

The short timer is what causes the FT to rush. If they removed, or even doubled the timer, it would make the game much better. The Fireteam could take a more stealthy approach towards the mission and the game would last longer. It would benefit both parties.

How long ago was this? May of launch year?

I feel the need to mention this, for any of you reading this thread for laughs, or first time looking at it, whatever the reason may be, if you skim through and look at the post with people trying to actually discuss the game,
You can see one way or another, a lot of people were asking for a slower more stealth focused game.

As a Pred main, I feel target isolation is helpful to have, but certainly not OP.
If the FT uses mud, Target Isolation doesnt help at all.

But I can accept that its strange that when the match starts, the Pred can immediatelly track down just the 4 FT members in the map even though they have never even seen each other once yet.

I think Target Isolation would make more sense if the predator first had to use thermal vision to tag FT members (big red rhombus that appears over FT player if you just keep your crosshair over them long enough, while in Thermal Vision) and only when a player is tagged and their “DNA is scanned” lets say, you can track them wherever on the map with Target Isolation (if they are not mudded up).

This would also buy some time for the FT to do the mission without the Pred rushing them at the beginning.

Preds need to apply non-stop pressure from the start of the match or the Ft is gone in 5 minutes.

A perfect scenario in this case. You are looking for ft because you can’t open with a target isolation. You go to the wrong base. You finally locate the team. The camera has been disabled without a shot fired. You now have two minutes to wipe a team.

Depends on the mission.
I have no problem taking 3 minutes at the start of the match for example to destroy re-supply crates and medkits in an area while the FT is fighting somewhere else.
If you feel the time is not enough its because some missions are ridiculously short.

But anyway scanning the FT takes just seconds
and it might seem like staying inactive,
but in reality you are giving yourself an really useful visual asssistance by placing tags on everyone and knowing where they are at all times, even when you go out of thermal.

And it feels more true to the movie hehe
