I stopped running bane yesterday and was still the only one actively hitting 4k+ damage every match.

To be fair I use meta weapons. But still. Bane isnt that useful unlesss you need to squeeze every bit of dps out of a shit blaster.

Exactly you don’t need information in PH:G unless youre all sniping and trying to knock off a bunch of health at the same time w/o spotting, and thats too much work compared to just grabbing an AK and shooting the pred whenever you see it which is far easier and requires no coordination. All thats coordinated is rotating healing in this game & if you can do that while also being able to put out consistent damage you’ve already won.

If pre-mades want a challenge and not just and easy win, play 1v3. If a good pred want a challenge against a premade, play 1v3. If not play as is.

Im not saying they need to be balanced around but you cant blame everything on them for the way this game is balanced. The devs clearly made this game to be player solo or with a Friend not 3 other player and you. They just seem to take into account the randoms loss and not pre-mades win loss stats. Which of they did they would not have buffed all the ft things they did. Idk the devs seem to not be in the loop or something

Oh absolutely I agree there. You cant blame them.

What I think a lot of people dont like however is how premade vs randos is like a light switch. Randos are always easy, premades are always a nut twister.

There isnt a lot of skill in this game imo especially not on fireteam side. Yes there is some situational awareness and a pair of headphones needed. But besides that, premades really seem to stomp so hard not because they are a team of 4 highly skilled players, but simply because this game basically gives matches to communicative teams. Its shitty because like @Finessology said they have a super low skill ceiling.

Not to mention a good FT player can single handedly carry a team of randos currently as long they kinda bait them for damage. So imagine that X4 and its like preds gonna have a really bad time lol

They’re trying to balance around the hotmicing guy with 0 situational awareness with the mom vaccumming in the background that muds up instead of shooting the predator infront of him.

I dont think the vast majority of the playerbase can hit a leaping predator but instead of giving ps4 potatoes the option of aim assist (like say COD that potatoes are capable of playing) they’ll just keep astronomically increasing the damage on guns and perks to compensate. Hell pubs couldnt even deal with melee combistick before they made it do that 60 damage in 2 swings, no way they can hit a ranged pred for more than 500 dmg.

Deadasss I think that they are trying to balance around ps4 players who dont have headphones and are playing on tv speakers across the room and with randoms.

Thats why all the sound in game is super duper loud and directional. Why the guns have to do so much damage because of the lack of aim assist. Etc.

Guess thats the price we pay for sony being the publisher. Along with the radio silence and playstation blogs being first to get news lol.

Shit sucks.

That is always my thought. Like 99% never use the beat weapon the Pred has they all like to use easy punishable weapons aka netgun and combi

Its abysmal ffs. What game balances around LOWERING the skill floor for people that can’t aim? You just end up with a progressively more shallow game rather than anyone having to learn how to play.

True but considering the bow has 30 shots and they can be retrieved, ive only ever run out of arrows twice in my hundreds of hours in this game. And im a pred main more than anything so thats prob 80% of my playtime lol
