Of course. That’s basically how I’ve looked at updates for most of this game’s life. It’s sad really. We should be looking forward to updates, getting excited by them but it’s gone so low that we dread updates and are anxious about them. A sad state of affairs this is.

You never know. That maybe the catch the curve now and get better.

I think that’s nothing short of a miracle tbh. And a miracle is what this game needs.

Fast hands has always been there.

The 30% exp boost literally only assists, probably the smallest portion of the player base due to a very large portion of players already bring MAX level.

A ton of what they listed doesn’t even make sense.

It’s been a VERY long time coming…

Bro its not even about fireteams strenght… like sure the only thing i dont like is how they can constantly spot u, see the cloak for miles away, hear you… and their bullets dont lose the damage value when they shoot the target from a far.

The thing its about is like how fast the game is going that the game is like balanced around that lol. Its about how fluent gameplay feels

The pacing needs a rework.

Totally agree.

Exactly. It feels like a rush to the finish line more than it does a hunt.

Indeed.

Truth is - and a lot of us don’t want to admit that - P:HG is a fast pace arcade shooter. There is no way to change the pace of this game, quz simply its build around a fast pace genre game. Alternative option would be a different studio doing an open world survival game, where all the players join a persistent server. That can have a slow pace, hunting experience. Think The Isle or The Forest for example.

The isle is a very good game concept for a pvpe game lol

TBH I don’t know what The Isle concept was meant to be XDDDD, but if you go as carno, you WILL have a true hunting expiriance - everything from masking yourself, tracking prey, ambushing it and killing.

That is exactly the process that the devs of that game did to try to groom kids

A primal carnage spinoff but the lead dev Dondi lowkey wanted to make a jurassic park game and wasnt able to negotiate a deal, so he’s making his own jurassic park sci-fi dino IP. He was tilted at illfonic getting the predator IP, the pacing of the game, artstyle, and preds animations in general at launch day too when he was streaming PHG. I feel like he hates them as much as he hates the ARK devs.
I do wonder how that’d go because he’d die for an alien or predator game but he’d want to do it with his team and his team only so I cant see that guy ever working with a big studio.

But yeah PHG is a fast paced action shooter by design and people still havent accepted that.

You do have to consider that the Isle took like 8 years and two recodes & multiple fallouts and the lead devs infinite amount of money to get where it is now but yeah its finally on the right track - they wanted to quit multiple times. They’re an incredibly small team and a couple of them are self-taught on UE. Dondi doesnt listen to community feedback though and left his own official discord to let other people handle the PR because he’s stated his audience is entitled children and RIP if you DM’d him. He’s making the game for himself and friends, he just has a lot of money, insomnia, and autism. One of the members of the dev team pushing for herbivores are actually the only reason herbivores are even in the game, the lead dev hates herbivores.

He’s great for putting jurassic park 3 spino in it, the unforgiving gameplay, and laughing at people that want feathers on everything though.

Paradymshift was the merchandise guy btw but yeah I remember that rumor.

Posted by the same NOO DONDIS TOXIC redditors that said one of the coders having brain cancer was a PR stunt because they didn’t get their febuary patch lol.
Glad the reddit finally stopped trying to cancel the game because they got a patch.
Life is easier in general if you just dont interact with your community, put names anywhere, or give them any ETAs so I see why there are companies that do so.

I like my feathered raptors ;-)
