One of the big issues I saw in this match is you’re not timing your swings. In some places you’re swinging too early or not on target, even at AIs, which leaves you wide open. At some points, especially near the end, you’re swinging wildly trying to get a hit, all the while Beer is lighting you up with sniper shots (I say specifically him because I know how good he is, and it seems to be a random matchup). If you find yourself doing that, you’re doing something wrong, and need to jump out immediately. I recall seeing that you are new, so you have a lot left to learn, which is a good thing because you will only get better. But if you don’t succeed in that first hit, get out. Leap out, leap back in, try again. Circle them, rush in, hit, leave. Also, I would invest in getting better with the bow and making that your main secondary. When you had that one guy down, you could have arrow’d him to death quickly and jumped out. The best tactic against good teams is patience, whittle them down one by one. You don’t need to go crazy swinging, because as you could see they moved out of range easily. Take your time, approach from the back or side, and then go for the hit.
Tbh I would recommend not using melee at all. Practice your bow, disc, plasma shots and combi throws and become an efficient long range player. The way the game is balanced in terms of damage output, melee for Pred is a deathtrap. You fought one super player in that match, now imagine four of them. You’ll never get close to use that axe. Just some friendly advice.
