True. Its still hard to imagine how they should react to a family situation that Dek had to face. Even his brother showed emotion. Yes, emotion is weakness, but they still naturally have them. I wonder how the training goes to purge emotions.

I saw some stats a few days ago where they compared the box office of the seven predator movies that made it to theatres adjusted for inflation and Badlands was number 6, beating out Predator 2, and that was a far better film and it still put the franchise on hold for like a decade.
Yea i liked how these disney simps tried to parade that it was the highest grossing movie not mentioning that it wasnt adjusted for inflation and trying to act like it was better than even predator 1. Shit all fox predator movies are better that badlands…dare i say even 2018. Badlands was hot dog shit and anytime its brought up i gotta shit on it regardless if coksuckers try shaming lol

Wow, thats a tough call. I still think The probably did more damage to the Yautja than Badlands. Badlands can be isolated to that clan, but The hits the species as a whole. Neither have any redeemable qualities.

I liked certain aspects of this movie, but Jesus Christ this movie was bad. Prey at least took itself seriously. I like Elle Fanning but did not like the talkative Thia character. I much prefer Tessa who acts like an actual synth. The whole movie was a trope. A kid hated by his parents goes on a journey with a ragtag team of a cute little baby creature and a very talkative companion. The Predator should never be humanized. THEY HUNT EVERYTHING LIVING FOR SPORT!!! The only exceptions are women, children and the elderly. Dek’s design was way to human if we’re being honest. I don’t by that bs about his gentic defection. That’s a simple plot convience device to get you to feel bad for him. Realistically his parents would have killed him right after birth due to his defect, but ya know…… movie had to movie. Let us also not forget he lost a fight with his brother who then lost to their father. There’s no way he should have even come as close as he did in that final fight. But once again, plot had to plot. Bud being the child of the Kalisk is another Macguffin. The only good takeaway from this film is the cinematography and the soundtrack. Personally I like the dad’s design other than those goofy spurts of hair on his chin. Other than that I think this is the weakest of Dan’s movies so far, but still better than Predator 2018. Let us also not forget, this movie lost money, and has not beaten the original movie’s box office results when you factor in inflation. No offense to Dan, but we need another person to head this franchise that respects the original movie. I see Neca’s revealed more of Badlands’ line of figures. Although I do not like this movie, I’ll pick up Dek, Kwei, and the dad because I like collecting things Predator.
